[StepMania 5.0.9 Theme] DanceDanceRevolution X2 (with Announcer and NoteSkins)

Hey! everybody, I have updated the Entry and Data Save Screen, don't forget to re-download it!

I got an request can you do the Text on the bout where it says "local mode and the credits or free or event mode"?

I'd like to report an error. Whenever the 'Risky' option is set to '1 Life', the game automatically switches to the 'FAILED' screen. This is especially true for 'Encore Extra Stage'. Please do find time to fix this error.

I think you are not using sm 5.0.9.
That's a little bug of sm 5.0.7. When I use sm 5.0.7(or early version maybe?), that bug occurred, too.

Found two more things:

A. Song options. Player options, like you told me, are accessible by the "/". But what about the Song Options (save scores, change rate, etc.) How do you get to those?

B. Doors don't make sound when they close after selecting a song, and the stage sound effect (1st stage, event mode, etc.) doesn't play.

Since these are minor issues, if you wanted to you could post the lua code to fix the problem and then I can make the changes myself.

A) Song Options are not accessible. Once I include Risky options into 'Player Options', getting into player option by using long press START key and escaping back to music select screen, the StepMania always occurs an error. So I just disable it by blocking 'long press' branch, and that means song options are not accessible, either.

B) Use the DDR X2 announcer and you won't feel the missing door sound .
If you don't have one, please go back to fist post to get it.

Great theme, but it will be better that has option that select 'banner/background' to use jacket the song without jacket... I have many simfiles that don't have jackets.

I get this message whenever I try to play a song:

[Lua panic] attempt to index a nil value

Of course the game crashes.

Also, some of the songs display the Banner instead of the jacket, any way to fix this?

if songs don't display jackets and they have them, make sure they're actually a square. or maybe the sm/ssc files dont have the jacket path filled out.

The picture display priority is
Jacket > Banner > Background

The Jacket you include into song folder must be square.
No need to add #Jacket in sm/ssc file.

So if your Jacket is not square, stepmania load banner instead.
After you correct it, press F2, Reload Songs and Courses, Restart stepmania.

And what is the error message when lua panic?
Would you please send me the song file and let me test?

The character cut-in is correlated to character movies that BG plays.
In technical it is possible, but I have to rename all random movies and re-write the corresponding lua file.
Also, there will not be cut-ins when playing a song with it's BG-Changes itself, just like the arcade behavier.

I want to use background image to jacket instead of banner image what doesn't have jacket simfiles. (It's possible in CyberiaStyle LA, D3NEX MAXIMUM and DDR2014 theme)

If I want to add more genres with their jackets to the THEME. How i do that?. There are missing jackets for games like ParaParaParadise, DanceManiaX, all those classic BEMANI titles.

awesome update to the theme but i just tried it out and i played a song and after the results it just hung on the background for a long time? idk if it was just hic up on my end or the theme? idk
i guess ill report back after more testing it out

One thing about the noteskins on the main thread is that the animation isn't quite as fast as it's supposed to be like in the official games. The animation should finish every 1/4 beat. Instead it ends every 4/4 beat. By contrast midi-note which is included in SM5 by default is animated accurately. Is there any way I could fix this manually?

If you guys want the theme to be more accurate to the Arcade one.
