Another set of APPEND songs for BEMANI games this year. With the added bonus of items this time round.

Starting off is 幸せのかたち (Shiawase no katachi) / あさき (Asaki) and avatar items for GuitarFreaksXG3&DrumManiaXG3.

From what I read, you gather "APPEND ENERGY" by playing any BEMANI game and you can use this on the e-AMUSEMENT GATE website to buy songs and items.

Hmm. I get songs, but items? The only "items" I can think of is new markers/backgrounds for jubeat and bgm/backgrounds/frames/sound effects for REFLEC BEAT. What about the other games? Neutral

Nothing announced for other games yet, in fact the event hasn't even started yet.

The last time they ran it, you could spend the points buying in-game songs, T-shirts for certain Pop'n Music characters that appear in-game, cellphone wallpapers, and items for your Konami profile page.

Last time, you could collect points on Pop'n Music, IIDX, GF/DM, Pro Evolution Soccer, Quiz Academy and whatever the latest Mahjong game was, but the items purchased could only be used on Pop'n Music and GF/DM, so by the looks of it, this one is much bigger in scale.

Oh man, the new あさき song sounds awesome.

EDIT: I just noticed that the constellation goes roughly from order of old to new (IIDXbeatmania->pop'n->DDR->GFDM->jubeat->REFLEC BEAT->SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH), with the exception of GFDM being past REFLEC BEAT for some reason.
nice.

pop'n (1998) is older than IIDX (1999) though...

From the preview, it sounds god-awful.

...I really like it. Confused

Also, I've realized that the revealing is "spreading" through the constellation from the jubeat node. So, next we're wither getting DDR, IIDX, or RB.
nice.

It's like AIR RAID FROM THA UNDERGROUND, pop'n style! Which is a good thing.
Honestly, I'm hoping for The Wind of Gold to appear on X3--it is on APPEND TRAVEL, right?

Well, not necessarily. It's in jubeat copious APPEND, not APPEND TRAVEL. X3 could be getting any jubeat song as the crossover. We could potentially get London Evolved as the APPEND TRAVEL song and アルストロメリア as the crossover (but probably not, since the APPEND events probably only have all-new songs added).
nice.

So then, APPEND TRAVEL spans all of the jubeat series, or just jubeat copious APPEND? I thought it was the latter, honestly, but I wasn't really sure.

Actually, after looking over the APPEND TRAVEL page, I'm not sure that jubeat crossovers other than the new songs are even involved.
nice.

Jubeat Copious APPEND is an updated version of Jubeat Copious.

APPEND TRAVEL is an event for the update.

"Keep the frequency clear."
APPEND TRAVEL looks neat, but I am more into "exchanging songs" system just like what they do for Lincle Link Phase 1. It is more refreshing and may give the variety of songs occur in a game a fresh touch.

I really cannot and don't want to expect any particular song to appear on DDR or IIDX, because basically, the music in DDR and IIDX is so universal that any kinds of music can be crossovered there.
I'm a DDR player, but never make a AAA.
No, I'm not a IIDX player, but I'm a BMS player.
No, I'm not pnm player, and I haven't play pnm simulator yet.
