how do you calculate server/database/processes load?

i'm working on a website, so it would be very helpful to be able to read out that information that you display in your footer here.
could you please tell me what commands you use for that?

Server Load: Use the Unix command "uptime", if your server is not running Unix then can't help you there.
Database Load: How many queries are currently running, percentage out of 25.
Processes Load: How many processes are currently running, percentage out of 25.

i see... not as straightfoward as i had hoped (hoped there would be some system-info commands or something in php/mysql that handle these things) but it still helped me, thanks Smile
