I'd say that DDRMAX2 deserves to go on because it was the newest thing in america. With the nonstop megamixes, buttloads of revivals ,new crossovers, and songs packing in from Japan. It was a near miracle. Too bad we got stabbed pretty hard when the JAP version had ALL of the megamixes and great songs like LOVE SHINE. Next to DDR Extreme arcade units going to america, DDRMAX2 was a pretty big deal.

I concur on Extreme 2.

Extreme - 3
X - 0

Max 2 - 2
Party Collection - 1

Party Collection is indeed solid, but Max 2's licences are AWESOME.

I do like EXTREME because of its wide song list and great stepcharts.
2nd Choice was one of my hardest decisions and I do liked both games, even if I don't have Party Collection.

Simple.

DDR EXTREME JP-1
DDRMAX 2 NA-0

I love EXTREME because the charts are OK and sometimes challenging. It has wide variety of songs too, with bunch of crossovers. Oh, and also good, inventive new CS songs (yeah at un deux trois). MAX2 only wins on the graphics and the licenses.
I'm a DDR player, but never make a AAA.
No, I'm not a IIDX player, but I'm a BMS player.
No, I'm not pnm player, and I haven't play pnm simulator yet.

DDRMAX 2 (NA) - 2

While I did start out with DDRMAX 1/2 CS, I never would have become so amazingly addicted to the series without EXTREME CS JP, especially after realizing what we were missing in the US release.

It wasn't until I actually got my hands on a copy of Extreme CS JP (and eventually a modded PS2) that I realized just how much we were missing out; That disc had so much more than what I could have dreamed, plus Max. (Period).
