I prefer dogs. They give that nice warm feeling when they cuddle even though cleaning their messes is a hassle

I am a huge fan of dogs, HOWEVER, I have a soft spot for kittens as well 
Once they grow into adult cats, I don't want them as a pet anymore.

I love them both. I generally like all types of cats while with dogs I only like specific types.

Cats, definitely. I like dogs but all of the ones I've had have been rather high maintenance, whereas nearly all of my cats have been extremely easy to handle. At the moment I have 3 cats at my dad's house and 2 at my mom's. I can only seem to find pictures of two of them, though. 
This big guy has been my buddy since I was 4 or 5.
This little bundle of joy never stops following me around the house, and she even gives "hugs".

I would vote for dogs, but not all of them are uglycute like pugs and bulldogs, ie. my favourite kind of dog.
