Bingo. We have things like Cedar Point, a bunch of Hall Of Fames (so I call us the "Hall of Fame state"), and pioneered Aviation soon turning into a popular mode of Travel/Transport.
As a state, we had our moments. Right now though... that's a whole different story =/

I live in Ohio and i love the weather, and i have pleanty of dancing games near me, i live about 2 minutes from an itg dedicab in Willard, which im like one of two people that even know about it because no one ever plays it and no one else from the dancing game community will acknowledge its existence, but within one hour from where i live i have 3 itg machines and like atleast 8 ddr machines that i can think of and a pump it up pro machine.

You have all the luck. I only have a Pump It Up NXA and a SuperNOVA near me. There's a Fiesta EX about an hour away as well as an ITG2 dedicab that I have yet to play on.
I'll be going to Fort Rapids VI, so I'll finally get a chance to play on the dedicab at least once before the tourney starts.

So the machines left Gamer and only one is presently playable in the public.

We are working with the staff at DG to provide more games to the public but there are many factors keeping this from happening at the moment.
If you are in the area and are looking to play these games in or around this state we are working with Colossalcon http://colossalcon.com/ to provide as many of these games as possible in 2013 for their weekend convention. This event is held in Sandusky Ohio. Last year they had Technika 3, ITG and Pop'n Music 20 on Free Play for the attendees.

Who's Kigha?
I had the only Technika cabinet I was aware of in Ohio that used to be at Gamer.
I have parted ways with GamerVG. I have no idea what if anything they have there and I'm pretty sure their DDR machine is still broken.

Might be Jeremy, i dunno. There aren't a lot of rhythm games here compared to say Cali or Florida. I'm probably gonna call LQ to see if they still have that MAX2 and if they do i'ma make an offer on it

I hate to bump an eight-month old thread, but I figured this is the best place to ask, considering I'm an Ohioan myself...
Are there any ITG Dedicabs floating around the northern half of the state as of almost 2014? I know the AASC one has been sold, and I can't really drive all the way out to Fort Rapids every time I want to get my fix, but I haven't played on a dedicab for over a year. I'm based in Northeast Ohio, and all I really have for sustenance is a SN2 at my local mall.
If anyone happens to know of any dedicabs that haven't been archived in the Arcade Locations, I'd appreciate their locations. Again, sorry for the bump.

I think the one in Willard, Ohio at Dynasty Lanes is still there. I've never been as I haven't been playing ITG lately. The only time I really get my ITG fix is at Youmacon and Ohayocon when Bemani Invasion comes. If it weren't for those, I would've quit playing by now.
My friend did have an ITG cab at Dueling Grounds that took USBs, but that machine is still under repair I think.

Well, I took a drive out to the Lanes to see the machine today. Unfortunately, it was frozen on the high scores screen. I didn't stick around to see if the staff could fix it, and even then, I wondered if it would freeze in the middle of me playing a song or something.
So, yeah.
I guess all I have dancing game-wise is this part of the state is the SN2 at Southpark Mall and the X2 at the Independence Cinemark. Every other place I've been to either has a less than ideal machine or is too far away for constant journeys out. Man, I hate to sound petty, but this really does suck, not having a dedicab to play on. I guess the arcade scene really has changed in this state...

Yeah it's depressing. That's why I've thought many times about quitting. If I go to Japan after college, I'll keep going with DDR, but otherwise, I may be done.

Does anyone from around Columbus know if the pads for the DDR X machine at Dave & Busters (Polaris) were fixed recently? I plan to go there sometime during the coming weekend and I plan to play a few games there and the location details from this site have not changed over the past year.
