"i'm back "
the worst machine I've ever played is the first BRAND NEW Dancing Stage Supernova!! 2 years ago.....
(Orchid Garden Mall in Jakarta)
It has a broken pad and most of the songs are off sync.....

I failed on the 1st stage playing Candy (heart) Heavy....... crap.......
I'm not that stupid for failing such an easy song......
The pad just isn't right...... (both P1 & P2 are sucks!!!!!) (They feel like very hard like a stone)
but some people could make AAs even AAA! Damn!!

I also failing Golden Sky Heavy later on.....

next...

The MAX2.....
The pad is just good, but someone played it with a very hard stomps by barefoot..... Evil
after he finished playing, it's my turn......
Holy shit!! The pad just don't work AT ALL!!!

The EXTREME near me is trash.

Up sticks on the P1 side, right only has the outside sensor, left and down only have the side sensors. P2 side all works I think, but you really have to stomp it, and there's no bar, so that gets tiring fast. The screen is too dim and all the colors are washed out. It's so bad you might as well be playing on flat the whole time. Finally, the screen geometry is jacked up, so it kind of looks like ITG hallway + accelerate.

Anyway, the DS Fusion near me is a masterpiece in bad DDR cab maintenance. The pads are so bad, I (who usually passes 10s with Bs, and FCs 8s/9s) failed a 7 on the first stage. And the arcade staff are completely clueless as to how to fix the machine. We've tried to get them to get an SN, or even a PIU machine, but they're having none of it.

Fusions are crap in general anyway, Usually on the screen the red colour gun dims, Fusion speakers don't sound right, pads suck and the mix is generally awful.

Seriously I'd rather play DS1 (the one with 8 songs) or a Solo Bass Mix than a Fusion. Honestly I don't know why there are so many Fusions in this country when they could be upgraded or replaced with better machines (such as EM2)

Eh...Ilikai Ultrazone EXTREME machine.

Last time I went there (which was a long time ago, I donno about now), the time it took to load each stage took FOREVER (like it would stay on 1st stage/2nd Stage/Final stage for a really long time). So much so that one time it actually crashed the machine (the staff had to reboot it and stuff) and one of the kids in my class blamed me for breaking the machine because "I stomped on the pads too hard".

I remember the two DDR EXTREMEs Lazer Park had here. The pads on both of them were craptacular, not to mention a game was expensive ($1.50/3 songs). Now, the place has been closed for a while (I think 2+ years). I only played for free because one of my cousin's friends worked there.

I know of one place that's hands down the absolute worst place for DDR I've seen.

First of all, this particular arcade blasts loud music over the PA system. And the DDR machine's volume is set to next to nothing, in spite of every other DDR player asking them to turn up the machine volume and filling their suggestion box (which I'm pretty sure they don't even look at) with "turn up the volume on DDR" requests.

Now, in addition to that, they don't seem to give their games any maintenance. Maintenance is a Christmas gift for their machines. So on their DDR SN machine, the P2 pads stick like super glue and both sides were less responsive than Jessica Simpson's brain on sodium pentathol.

Also, it costs $2.40 per game for three songs. No Joint Premium, either. Now, I made the mistake of playing on Double.

To add insult to injury, they also have the most obnoxious and unfriendly staff I've ever seen in an arcade. I went up to the counter, and after waiting about ten minutes for the two employees behind the counter to finish up their more important tasks of gossiping and staring at air, I told them about the broken pads. The employee started "arguing" with me (if shouting "IT'S NOT BROKEN!" repeatedly even constitutes arguing) before giving me a "refund" in the form of adding ONE credit (when I spent two for Double) to the DDR machine, and hitting the Start button on the right side, which is twice as broken. (By "twice as broken", I mean the left side was marginally playable if you stomped really hard. The right side had the sticky pads, so even stomping wasn't an option.)

A few years ago, this particular arcade was even worse. Suffice it to say, the city passed a new health code a couple years ago, and said arcade cleaned up their place solely because they would've been in violation of said new health code.

"Gimme a mothaf----n' break!"
There's a bowling alley that's now called Brunswick Zone, but used to be known as Carolier Lanes. It's somewhere in New Brunswick or something. Anyway, they used to have DDRMAX2 there, which was cool, but at the same time it wasn't cool. The two main problems with the machine were that the volume was terribly low, and the pads were god-awful. The response of the pads was very bad, and if you did a song that had Freeze Arrows, you had to turn them off because EVERY TIME I did a song that had Freeze Arrows in them, I always got an N.G. Every time!

I played a horrible DDR Extreme at the Wildwood Boardwalk Mall. That SUCKED. The unlocks weren't there, the pads are off, and the color was distorted. Evil
