MEI: A space pilot is about to board the shuttle headed for Pluto and their mission is to build a dome to allow humans to live on it. He has said his goodbyes to his girlfriend, and remarks that they may never meet again. After a minor collision on the asteroid belt, he enters a hallucination wherein he tries to follow his girlfriend but gets blocked by plants and shrubbery. He then finds himself in front of a barren tree, and he just looks upward.

Vanessa: A one-of-a-kind trip to the house of the eccentric De Verdet family. The wife, observed to be catatonic, hopelessly tries to eat her soup with a fork. The little daughter, who plays with a lit candle unattended. The older son, seen whipping someone bound with ropes. And after a trip to the rooftop garden and into various passageways, is the library, where Vanessa himself awaits for you.
