Random Movie Help!

So I haven't played Stepmania in w while and my DDR X dancers are changing every 10-15 seconds. So where in metrics can i change to just one dancer video?

Maybe you can try the stepmania.ini file. There is an option to use, I think, 10, 15, 20 or 30 random movies in a song. Maybe you can find the relevant line in the ini file and just change the value to 1.

The other way is to apply them as bgchanges for each song, but they won't bee randomized anymore.

how do you change it on the ini file?

- create a copy of Stepmania.ini in the same folder (Stepmania/Data folder) and rename it as Static.ini
- open the just renamed Static.ini with notepad, delete everything inside
- paste this line to notepad:

NumBackgrounds=1

- save the file.

This will permanently display only one looping RandomMovie bg.
