My friend has this game. I'm going over to play it soon!

I find it odd that Nintendo had ONE Metal Gear Solid game and decided to put Snake in brawl. He doesn't fit in too well. Still bad ass though.

Sorry if it is 2 weeks old but I only saw this today and felt like addressing it:

FFXII is brilliant in terms of storyline. The only problem was pacing. Creativity and originality not so much. BUT GUESS WHAT? All of the Final Fantasies took elements from other video games and sources.

Just because a few people can't seem to get over the fact video games change, doesn't mean it wasn't a great game and it definitely doesn't mean it didn't deserve a perfect score.

Hate to start a fight, but I don't think FFXII's storyline was that great. After initially meeting up, what's everyone's motivation to stay together? Why do we spend 60 hours with 6 characters and hear so little of their backgrounds? I came out of the game without liking any of the characters for their goals or feeling bad for their past, unlike FFX for example, where I was connected to every one of the characters.

P.S. Toon Link is done by clearing Classic mode apparently. My friend and I were told with Link, but we got him with anyone else too... Must be a second requirement or else you just do Classic.

They all want to help Ashe.

Balthier had some other issues to deal with later on and helping her would led to the resolution of those issues. Plus, he is the leading man.

Fran tagged along with Balthier and had her own problem to deal with later on.

Basch promised to help Ashe early on and he confronts the person who put him in prison for 2 years later on.

Vaan wants to become a Sky Pirate and takes after Balthier to help Ashe. His problem with his brother is solved later on.

Penelo follows Vaan, who is kind of the voice of reason for Vaan.

That's the best I can explain it as I'm not one of those people who analyze a video game for storyline.

You are entitled to your own opinion about the storyline and whether you like it or not. I don't want to take it farther than that.

Well, I got this game yesterday, and had a busy schedule and didn't have much time to play it. But it's really a great game so far! I just unlocked Ness and Luigi.

Funny thing is, I was enjoying SuperNOVA 2 CS (J) so much, that I played it for an hour with the unopened, brand new copy of Brawl next to me on the couch, before I took a DDR break and played Brawl.

So, will there be an exchange of Brawl codes in this thread? There are 64 friend slots, and I will probably only fill 3 or 4 of them with local friends... So 99% of the time I check, any one of my friends probably won't be on. I would like some online action with people I at least recognize, so I'd love to add some people. Be sure to add me, too! ;)

My bro loves him, but I don't think he's that good. nearly all of his attacks are short ranged. but that's just me.

His gernade special you can make it long range, just hold the B button down

just play alot of Brawl matches, you need more then 450 to unlock Wolf

Just got him, He's also in The Ruins in the adventure mode, and he kicks ass. NOW I HAVE EVERYBODY!!!;D

Three-week bump (pretty mild compared to some of the bumps we're experiencing ), just wanted to say I completed all the challenges as of yesterday. But I have 519 trophies and 638 stickers, so I'm not through yet. I'm still enjoying this game alot!

I beat Boss Battles with Wario, who I've actually become quite good with. Anyone else beat this challenge yet? (it's the top-leftmost square, you can't use a hammer on it)

Anyone here get 544 trophies or 700 stickers yet? Or both? It's looking like it'll take me a long time to get everything.
