I certainly agree that all players must try all songs at any cost..What's the purpose of having that in the gmae if we should not play it. Playing the same song all over again and hearing it all over again is very irritating..example:

I love Afronova way back then..for now its ok..but i certainly dont want to listen to it over and over again because people tend to play it a million times repeatedly
A decade of pure dancing..not only on the pad but the centerstage itself

This is very ridiculous matter when i watch people play DS Supernova arcade. Most of them tricked with Easy, Medium and Hard word as the difficulty so they choose Easy, BUT. Easy, Medium and Hard was like 4th mix folder and they don't know if press right 3x they get hidden menu and can access All Music. Look at them, they have lack of information about that DDR.
How accurate is "Easy", anyway? PARANOiA is available under Easy sort.

On DS SuperNOVA Arcade after choose Single style, they gived several options Tutorial, Easy, Medium, Hard. So, they think "Easy" words that they saw was Easy difficulty, but it was Easy song folder that contain less songs, not all 298 songs. They tricked, how fool. If some player know how to trigger all songs, it doesn't matter. I ever watch people play DS SuperNOVA and they don't know if they choose "EASY", they will NEVER get and play AFRONOVA or something like that. They tricked and i explained so that they understood how to get that songs. And i never saw people choose Medium difficulty to trigger Healing-D-Vision on Extra Stage because they never know that DS SuperNOVA has secret songs, moreover to get CHAOS on Encore Extra Stage and Try Fascination MAXX as Extra Stage. They never know how to get that songs and how to get AA on Expert.

Wait, wait! Somebody tell CHAOS on top 20! How to get like that? Is that DDR SuperNOVA Japan Arcade and we can play CHAOS without trigger Encore Extra Stage?

I think SN1 licences still good enough to hear. But SN2 licences, some of them aren't enjoyable to hear like Ain't no Mountain high enough, Faint, Come Clean.

SN had only a few bad licenses, but on SN2, it's about half. Dead

Yeah, because Konami can't get more DanceMania licences again. They have trouble with Toshiba EMI.

Well yes, but why do loads of sub-par covers when a big company like Konami could easily afford 10-15 'massively popular licences' as promised by them, all of them being the originals?

Those of songs should not be re-edited.
Especially, Ain't no moutain high enough and Come Clean are
much worse than the originals.

As you guys know Toshiba sold out Toshiba Emi
and we have not had a new Original Dancemania since Treasure came out.

DDR was so popular from 2nd Mix to 3rd Mix
It was really in that we had social phenomenon.
After 4th Mix, its popularity had extremely dropped.
The thing kept KONAMI from creating a new DDR Series.
It seems that KONAMI cannot afford to pay royality to
Japanese Organization which administers Author's right.
So they don't use the originals but coverings.
It's a difficult problem...Cry

Contrary to what I usually say, I thought that Come Clean and Two Months Off were better than their originals...now I wanna hear a full version of TMO!

Maybe everybody missing favourites artist like 2Unlimited, E-Rotic, Captain jack, Smile.dk, X-TREME, BUS STOP, DJ MIKO ,etc. Still much songs by them on previous DanceMania from DanceMania X1 until DanceMania X9 that never used for DDR.

I think you may be missing the point a little. Konami still require permission from TOSHIBA-EMI to use those, and judging by how Dancemania's been snubbed for SN2 (OK, there's a few licences from SN1, but that's it for new ones), it doesn't seem like Konami will try asking.

I do. It's so sad not to have most of them in SN2 New Songs.

I have played Da Capo 200 times even on SN2.
LAFS, Give Me Up, Toxic, What A Wonderful World, A Love Like This
Those are the songs I choose very often.

TMO and Me Against The Music are pretty good for meTongue
Ain't No Mountain High Enough,Come Clean, Sunrise I sometimes choose them.
But IMO SN1 songs are better for me...>_<

In no particular order:

- Raspberry Heart (English version)
- DoLL
- trim
- Blind Justice
- Love Shine
- TRUST
- Afronova Primeval
- Xepher
- Under the Sky

Over and over and over and over and over and over... Thank you, influence from one of the groups that roam my area, for making my ears bleed.

Any more of any of these, and I'll probably throw stuff.

@limewirelord: I like those songs, too, but listening to them being played for hours on end gets really irritating (on DoLL and Blind Justice). The fact that 40% of the people I see there are padbreakers doesn't help.

Too bad, because Trim and Blind Justice are good songs. The others are guaranteed to be whored by newbs/n00bs (especially Raspberry Heart and Love Shine, ugh).
