I still don't understand how almost EVERY SN1 machine has TOMORROW near the top of the player's best, I mean yeah the song is in Easy Mode, but still...? lol

Also...MODERN GIRL will infest the top of the players best on every SN2 US AC machine, simply because it is the first song on the wheel in Beginner mode. (Also unless you have lots of expert players, all the songs in beginner mode will find their way on the Top 30/Machine list.)

For us, the first song at the top of the Easy category songlist is "A Love Like This". It's also number 1 most played.

Centerfold and Golden Sky are in the top 4, and Let the Beat Hit Em is number 5, purely me AA'ing it to play CHAOS. Healing-D-Vision is somewhere around 7, MAX 300 is around 10 or 11, Love Shine is number 13, CHAOS is number 14 most played.

...which is pretty aweosme. I mean, just how many SN1's have CHAOS in the top 20, much less it being close to passing Love Shine?

And it seems that "Peace (^^)v", Toxic, and Your Rain always seem to linger somewhere around 20 where I'm trying to bump FAXX and FELM back into nonstop. I don't even like those three aforementioned songs, or know why everyone plays them so much.

So if Chaos is played often enough, it can be chosen on top 50 songs when it is still locked?:3

JunK is still a regular poster, so...

To quickly answer your question, no.

You can view a song's placement in the top 50 by unlocking it for Extra Stage, and sorting it by popularity. If you can't find it, it's not in the top 50 most played. Even if an extra stage-only song is somewhere in the top 50, you can't play it on a regular stage by sorting it by popularity; it only appears in the top 50 while choosing the extra stage. While this would theoretically work to find the placement of CHAOS, you cannot choose any other song or change the sorting method for EES, so the only way to know where CHAOS is is to spam the living hell out of it until it reaches the top 20, where you can play it in nonstop. If it's one of the 283 least-played songs on the machine, there's no way to know where it stands in popularity. On extra stage with the popularity sorting, CHAOS will not be shown, even if it is in the top 50. When CHAOS was up there between Love Shine and What a Wonderful World, sorting it by popularity showed What a Wonderful World coming right after Love Shine.

Also, for me by now FaXX, FELM, and CHAOS have all left the top 20, but Healing-D-Vision is still up there, about 13 or so. MAX 300 finally passed HDV again in popularity. CHAOS nonstop was fun while it lasted, now I'll just wait for SN2 to ever hope of passing it again. At least I made a video about it on YouTube while it lasted, haha.

Thanks for the reply.:3
So, that also means unless it gets unlocked to play in regular stages, or else we can't see it in top 50. That just sucks! Why did they lock it in the first place!! Curse at Konami!Evil
Replying to one of the posts, I do regularly hog on the same machine for a whole night with A, sync and Colors just to offset the top 50 starting from Doesn't really matter, Centerfold, Modern Girl...XD (Man, I just love IIDX's songs!)

I wonder, every i watch people on my country when playing DDR, if that DDR has AFRONOVA, they always play it TOO MUCH and they won't try new songs unless they wanna to try. So BORINGAnnoyed when look that people don't want try new challnge and still play AFRONOVA too much. Why they don't want try new songs? New songs maybe better than AFRONOVA not only music quality but the stepchart too.

Let me guess, you play in Britain? All the chavs here play AFRONOVA Light. For all three stages. Five times in a row.

"I'm honestly pissed off."
Now isn't that enough to make you wish Konami would put in a mechanism to lock overplayed songs? It'd be kind of interesting, to know that if you overplay a song, you won't be able to play it for a while until its popularity decays. Big Grin

Didn't DDR machines used to have a deal where after you played a song, you couldn't pick it again? It's been a long time since I played a retro mix, so I really can't remember, but regardless, bring that system back Annoyed

Because they never train intesively. They JUST WANNA HAVE FUN, NOT INTERESTED TO TRAIN HARD OR MORE KNOWING HOW THE STEPCHART GOES BY. Sigh, maybe on next DDR, old konami original not inserted again so they must try new songs or else. Anybody have idea how to make another new songs become popular like AFRONOVA so we not bored by watcing people play AFRONOVA too much?

Yes, but doing the same thing three times in a row, and getting Ds on each does not constitute fun. In fact, I saw even worse this week. On our Fusion (changed from EM2 in about '06 - very, very bad move), there's the song Freak Like Me, which has difficulty levels 1/2/3/4. Yeah, that's 4 for Heavy. So, these chavvy girls appear, put 5 credits in, and play Freak Like Me for all 15 times. On Light. And (because they're not smart enough to put it on Versus when two people are playing) Double. And every single time, they only just passed with a D. In the end, I almost wanted to die.

You know how on beatmania, a song is removed from the list, so you can't play it twice on one credit? They should do that for the next DDR. It encourages new people to try more songs and saves us the pain of having to hear Graduation three times.

Graduation is not too painful. At least we get to hear the sweet voices of BeForU.
Modern Girl is much more painful. Sounds like a horse singing.Dead
There are a few licensed songs in SN1 also fits the description.

I wonder. If some people too lazy too train theirself to challenge new songs, that so ridiculous. When they really want to get better playing, they must try new songs and more difficult. Failed? Is okay. Anybody can failed at 1st step but don't give up. Maybe they play same songs with easiest difficulty too much but still get D or E because they don't smart enough. Maybe some of them don't have good feeling about rythm so they get MISS or ALmost frequently. And very ridiculous matter when i watching people play DDR, their footwork. Very amateur, they only used right leg too much and not want to try effective step like marching, walking or running. They just depend right leg too much which makes difficult to try 4 footer songs like Can't Stop Fallin' Love (Speedy Mix), Matsuri Japan or something like that. And most of them only know that DDR only on arcade but the don't know if some DDR they played has been released on Home console PS2, XBOX , etc. Because of lack information they won't try and train theirself to dancing more better. This is very ridiculous matter when i watch people play DS Supernova arcade. Most of them tricked with Easy, Medium and Hard word as the difficulty so they choose Easy, BUT. Easy, Medium and Hard was like 4th mix folder and they don't know if press right 3x they get hidden menu and can access All Music. Look at them, they have lack of information about that DDR.
