SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH (AC) (Japan)

I dunno about that. It would be pretty weird and very odd to see a brand new song that hasn't shown up anywhere else to appear in a game tailored to the West. I mean we never get special random remixes before Japan/Asia.

I think there was another remix STM200 did called "Trip Machine Eternal", so he's done more than one. Possibly more than the two I've seen.

To me, this looks like they're ripping off of DJ Hero. I mean the note set ups look similar, but I guess I give Konami points on making a game that is more closer to actually playing like a DJ if it is suppose to do so.

Activision will (not) sue. Sorry to disrupt you but...where on the controller is the turntable? The gameplay look very similar to an upside-down IIDX with two knobs for effects changing or wherever, i can see that the drop-down note chart DOES resemble the same drop-down note chart as within Guitar Hero or DJ Hero, but for this to be a "rip off" of DJ Hero seems...out of question. IIDX was more closely to resemble a "DJ simulation" game than what this new game looks like. It might just be a game where you hit the notes to make music, but you can now move around two knobs to pitch up or down a sound.

If this game had four buttons on the side, a turntable with two buttons on it, and the two effects knobs, then yeah this would have been a total rip off of DJ Hero, but to me this doesn't appear to be the case. It looks like a fresh new game that we still have no idea how it will play out in the end (unless someone can get video of this thing in action).

Yeah, the gameplay is nothing like DJ Hero so don't even start in with that.

Funny you should say that because when there were no western releases (Not including euromix here) the western arcade scene was full of Extreme cabinets and max/max 2 cabinets , then supernova came out and all of a sudden everyone was buying games designed for the US which were significantly inferior to the japanese counterparts due to distributor politics.

Its the same reason why this game will never REALLY come out outside of Asia, it'll maybe get loc tested on an amazing cabinet, the distributor will want to cut costs on it, costs will be cut but the price will remain the same and arcades will be flooded with broken machines that nobody can use and the game will fail OR it'll simply just never make it past the location testing phase with no logical reason as to why (ubeat in the UK ... what the hell happened?)

Okay, so I didn't spend all of last night looking up and translating all this information for you guys to bitch about America not getting BEMANI games, so if you're not going to talk about the actual game, then you need to not post in this thread.

This is quite surprising to hear that there's already a new Bemani game underway. From the looks of it, I'm liking the electrifying theme. I also can't wait to hear the MAX 300 and Nadeshiko remixes, as I have a good feeling that these two songs will find its way into DDR.

I think I might be wrong on this but If this MAX 300 remix doesn't appear in DDR II/X3 then I think it'll be safe to say that this will be the first MAX 300 song/remix to not be released in a DDR mix (or cross released i.e. 7th Style) first before being transplanted.
