I like cloud and the neu remix. RPG Syndrome is OK, wound and Sekai wa Neko no mono suck, and Tycoon was alright.

Played this game yesterday. It's hella fun but after about 5 plays I'm at about 10 difficulties (anything under I can near AAA).

Most people turn the knobs with a grip-motion, is there a reason why they don't use the underside of their hands? You can create a smoother turn for a longer period using this technique, while keeping your thumb free to hit 1-2 buttons at the same time. I don't know--it feels like a future-soon-to-be-metagame style as people figure out how to efficiently play.

I'm also curious if anyone knows the song that plays during the main menu theme (when you insert a coin and or loading your eamuse password).

I've played quite a bit, and I enjoy it! Pretty happy with the recent update, wound is probably my favorite. I have buyer's remorse with RPG syndrome(?)

I have a giant gripe with the unlock system though. Each time I play (usually on Exhaust, from difficulty 12-14) I end up getting 21-22 block. But songs like Exhaust Flower, Exhaust Red Zone, etc. range from 400-500 blocks which is like....25 plays for each unlock. It's getting gradually easier now that the game has more variety, but it's still a bit much.

Ridiculous unlock requirements is nothing new for a Bemani game.

A fax went out to arcade operators today detailing the update that has happened sometime today.

New songs will be added this Friday.

Tycoon got my hopes up really high until it turned into bad B4U at around 10 seconds in.

I was not sure about the new unlocks until I read the notification on Z-i-v homepage.

Hello everyone,

Though I have been playing DDR and GuitarFreaks for quite a while, I have only recently (a couple of months ago, I think) had a chance to play the Sound Voltex Booth first-hand at a location test. The first impression I got from it is great, and I am hoping it would be successful enough to stay, and then some.

From the looks of things, the official site has a contest (I'm guessing for Sound Voltex Floor) involving dj TAKA.
The goal is to submit a remix to one of the following songs:

ABSOLUTE
Abyss
Colors
Tomorrow Perfume
rainbow Flyer
pandora
AA
INORI
Blue Rain
Freeway Shuffle

Sounds interesting, but is anyone actually trying to do something with SVF? There were two other contests (at least), but who knows if anything happened.

And more importantly, is a soundtrack even in the works?
