I cannot wait to get this DLC which should be priced quite reasonably at about $18. I have always loved KONAMIs story-modes, as they make a lot of sense, and I always find the jokes to be so funny. Sometimes I laugh so hard, I fall off my metal pad and then get cramps, so I have to wait to play. It takes me a long time to complete it so it is totally worth the money.

The only thing I like about this is the store with your wallet and earning points and unlocking songs and stuff.

Haven't really paid attention to that. How does it work? Same as DDR CS versions I'm guessing? You get points after a song, and the amount depends on how good you did?

Also, so you buy the DLC, but then have to unlock it?

I'm not happy about having to wait for it, because I honestly want to try this game out for myself. Of course, I'm not gonna buy the DLC unless there's some amazing fucking charts in it.

But honestly, I don't get why there's a delay for them. Probably trying to make it look like they're a real gaming company by pushing the game back a few times, "beta" testing it even though it's StepMania which is never perfect.

You could always loop a sequence, block permission of pulsen, and then play everything.

ITG bought something new to the party, it had harder songs and charts, wasnt afraid of putting hard charts on easier songs, and it had a different scoring system to what was available at the time (i believe nobody saw any quads on ITG1 until ITG2 was almost ready to be released anyway) people might have hated it for being stepmania but it gave those players who had already done everything with extreme something new to push towards thats why it was as popular as it was.

This however offers nothing new except a shop based unlock system which to be fair isnt that hard to implement as it is and the only time ive ever seen lifts used in a song in a way that is just so backwards, the charts werent great infact beta ITG1 charts were more fun than these ones (Im talking from the demo here btw i didnt pay for the full version because i see no reason to do so) the noteskin is actually harder to read than ez2dancers "Ztar Warz" Skin which was absolutely ridiculous (All flat notes and just two shapes for 7 different note types) and the theme is just one fallback basically and a repositioning of a songwheel, if theres anything else to this i havent seen it yet and that clearly means its not really a good selling point if ive not spotted it after playing every song in the demo...

Even the story mode they'll be releasing next year wont be new really, we've all got worldmax and quest world on pump, its available on stepmania if you go to the right places and its even runnable in openITG with a LOT of work (worth it though) so unless the game has some new "Innovation" then it'll never be as popular as ITG or DDR or PIU or to a lesser extent MGD (Which was unique in its own special ways)

tl;dr its just stepmania with a price tag but with nothing we havent seen already.

Love it. And honestly, I'd rather pay for MGD then this. MGD introduced stuff like a new rating system, it's own difficulty system, modification mines, etc.

It had a great song list available from the beginning with some patches here and there.

I loved MGD3 and with Renard had gone on to do 5-Step Adventure. :<

Theme looks like a generic sm4/5 theme that i dont want to download, Arrows look like they were stollen from ParaParaPara, none of the music stands out, the logo doesnt catch my eye =3= stepcharts are ok~
if i want to play these songs, i'll wait for a stepmania pack so that i dont have to look at those shitty arrows.

Oh hello F11 & F12, also why does that logo "4step something" have a DDR arrow? o3o
it also reminds me of stepmix, you know where people either make their own music or ask someone for permission, but then the music isnt that good D:
Now to uninstall :3 ama go play stepmania now ^^
