I wouldn't know, because I haven't been, but from what it sounds like it was a bit of a shit arcade anyway.

Hopefully the new owners will take better care of the DDR machines than Troc...

The new owners are a smokey shack filled with Wangan Midnight machines.

This was the best arcade in England by far.
It really means so much to me and so many people.
They had such a great selection of games, amazing atmosphere and great times.
It's like abit part of many of our lives has been shut out.
Troc was amazing.
I'm praying they don't shut down the underground (dance area) too.
Luckily Para & Fiesta are being moved to LV.
Reading the comments, I think Funland closing won't affect anyone who has posted here so far though.

Troc was really really good,
Yeah the machines were shit and we complained, but honestly it was the best of englands selection.
The owners of troc are being dicks, also toby have they moved Troc's T2 machine to LV as well?

Troc themselves have confirmed it (check their fb page)
but the facebook page just says this:
Funland closed until further notice. Thanks for the comments guys, we might relocate or stay where we are. Please go to Las Vegas 89/91 Wardour St for a mini Funland experience
until further notice does not confirm closing for good.

This being said of course it does seem harsh to lose the hundreds of machines they have and all them members of staff so chances are they'll open a new one somewhere else even if its only a smaller selection of machines.

Wow, that place was heavenly when I visited London last year. The DDR X was in great condition, it was the first time I had seen an X AC in the wild...RIP Funland... ;_;
