I sent a message to Alan, but I might as well post in public while I get a chance.
Since there was a recent spambot who spammed today with a malicious link on the signature, can signatures and homepages be disabled if the user gets banned?
Spammed post (locked by Pie)
Banned Spam Account (signatures still show as of now)
I don't want this trend to hit like bots spamming PIU PRO forums and ITG/PIU PRO in Bemanistyle.

From what I've heard, the word "PRO" is the spambot magnet a couple of months ago.

The thing is, IP address blocking means nearly bugger-all in this day and age, when home connections use dynamic IPs and spammers can access botnets and proxies (and in the case of email spam, open SMTP relays).

Also, one user's signature is very offensive and I quote.
A suggestion would be to use "Signature disabled" on the signature when banned or something similar.
