I noticed that icons for "Double premium" and "Joint premium" on the title screen are both shown. I have a question about it.

If icon for "Joint premium" is only shown, does it mean that the game requires 2 credits for play style Double and 1 credit for play style Single or Versus?

I thank those who can answer my question relevantly and accordingly.

You can't do that because Joint Premium implies Double Premium.

An easy way to understand it is that Joint Premium = 1 credit per game, Double Premium = 1 credit per player. While you can say normally it's 1 credit per pads used :P

Is it normal to get a game over if you life bar failed a Light or Standard first stage?

I just watched someone do it and now I feel bad for steering him away from Happy Mode.

"Give me a steady beat."
I only know that the MAX era let you continue even after a fail on the first stage on LIGHT only. I don't remember when that stopped.

I think it's like that since X2 where Happy Mode starts appearing.
or maybe SN2 with its Beginner Mode

I was quite surprised with this one, with the scores to be exact.

It's EX Score, as in, Challenge mode scoring from the old days. You can toggle it on.

Good luck finding an arcade that still has one. Pretty much every single X3 has been upgraded to the current DDR.

As of right now, I know about a DDRMAX and a DDR EXTREME in the extreme outer regions of Tokyo. Everything else has either been retired or upgraded.

"Pls"
All the old X3s need to jump over to the states...
Preferrably fully unlocked...

They can do that, right?

"Bigger avatars when?"
Maybe, but I don't think a lot of arcades would buy them. From my experiences, I think most arcades just care about people playing the game, and not giving a rat's ass about the machine unless people complain about it (PIER 39 PLAYERS), or one of the employees notices it.

Only if song licensing doesn't get in the way I believe.
I mean, there are issues with some songs even between Japan, Korea, and the rest of Asia for GITADORA, especially with the e-Amusement service providing monthly updates to the songlist and other functions?

Most arcades that import games from other countries also* don't give a rat's ass about song licensing because they aren't big enough to be a legal target. (notable exception: Round 1, which is big.)

* that was a reference to RevAddict5's post

"In the e-AMUSEMENT keypad, you have to jot in 3750 at MODE SELECT and 1P/2P USE EX SCORE will appear on the screen. EX SCORE will appear below your judgement. To turn it off, enter the command at MODE SELECT again.

If EVENT MODE is on, do the same thing but jot in 0573 instead. To turn it off, enter the command at MODE SELECT again and hold the TEST button."

Also you have a better chance playing X3 in the states than in Japan right now in my opinion. X, X2, and X3 cabs are rare because arcades usually get upgrades before the release date (so the game can launch on the specific date).

Not to mention that X3 is already off eAmuse and there's probably 0 X3s in Japan right now.

It changes your scoring method (grading and scores that gets stored is still using SN2 scoring).
If you use target score, the pacemaker will use EX scoring too.
Nothing really changes except when probably in tournaments when you want GREATs not incur a lot of penalty (i.e. changing the weightage between MARVELOUS/PERFECT/GREAT). This way, MARVELOUS will weigh much more compared to PERFECT. It also saves you time so you don't have to calculate it manually.
