Because although the 4 songs in the Append Travel event are unlocked after playing for a few days (not necessarily in a row), in order to get the challenge charts, you have to play 5 days in a row for each one (so, shortest time is 20 consecutive days of play to get the challenge charts for Twinkle Heart, Alstromeria, Sumidagawa Karenka and Flower)

I honestly like the Double chart. It's actually technical! I'm not really sure if it's a 16 though... the combo barely breaches 500 steps. Perhaps solely on the merit of employing the lost technique of turning ones body to the side to avoid double-stepping.

I wouldn't totally base a rating on the number of steps. Arrabbiata -D doesn't even break 450 steps and is definitely a 16.

And let's not forget DEGRS: 479 steps and a solid 18.

SILVER DREAM is by no means anywhere near as complicated as that!

The Double chart is even less confusing than the Single chart.

I'm a mid-level DDR player (clearing up to lvl15, fc to lvl13) in Japan atm and I'm playing a lot of DDRX3. If you have any question or anything you'd like to try, please ask ! I'm at enjoy lvl10 atm, but I'm doing my best to unlock all the songs ^^

My favorite X3 song so far is amalgation. An easy enough chart to have fun playing it, but tricky enough timing-wise not to 1.000.000 it too fast :p

Our DDR X3 machine reboot too often after finishing a set of 3 stages. :-(

Tolki> Where abouts do you play? I usually play around the Ikebukuro area but sometimes I play around Odaiba and Akihabara. If you are ever in the area we should meet up sometime. There are also regular meetups in Odaiba on Sunday though that place is still expensive (200 yen a game)

I'm at enjoy level 160 something? but that is more from regular play than anything. If you want to boost your enjoy level fast just play sets of songs you haven't played before (any difficulty)

Also, where was it hinted there would be golden week unlocks? None of the locals know anything about it and thought I was talking about the Amalgamation challenge and Silver Dream charts.

That might refer to the fact the Extra stage system was jumbled again and Nephilim Delta could be selected as the Extra Stage to get Silver Dream for the OMES.

Maybe the first line and the second line have nothing to do with each other?

As in, there may be some EXTRA STAGE songs around. But we don't know when they will be unlocked.

Something called the "Weekend Special" event is starting tomorrow.

Which is basically the daily songs but it changes every hour starting from 7am JST with SigSig.

So ... no new songs then?
