DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX (AC) (Japan)

The pattern of the Extra Stage system.. New song->CS->New song->CS.
I think there's possibility of having a new song besides London EVOLVED, which one that's confirmed to appear at X3.\

Just like the SN-SN2-X.. Have an old style Extra Stage System..

Oh my gosh, my friend must be psychic or had connections to Konami. Back then, Silver Dream is very extremely unlikely to be included in X3.

I should ask him about the next CS DDR game when I meet up with him again.

I'm dissapointed but not surprised to see SILVER☆DREAM as the new EES, since they put SigSig in X3.


Why it was not added to DDR X (?)

And It could be Pluto The First (if it was not on the X2 AC list)

It looks that we'll have to wait for DDR X4 to see New York EVOLVED or osaka EVOLVED on arcades.

Well, Amalgamation is all right. I was expecting some 16ths on the sounds right after the stop, but it's fine regardless. Hopefully next week gives us something awesome.

SILVER DREAM is the new EES huh?

....*sigh* oh well, it was bound for a DDR AC game anyway, might as well throw in tokyo/osaka EVOLVED and maybe...MAX.(period) into the equation.

I think KONAMI's just trying to build up some momentum. First by disappointing us with already existing songs as EES, and then for "golden week", finally give us some brand new songs, like a new 17 or 18 on . If it's New York, Osaka, or London EVOLVED, then X3 vs. 2nd Mix will become a huge let-down for all of us. Those songs may be new to Japan, but they're not in the Western world.

I think that it will be London EVOLVED because Japan hasn't seen that song released yet, and KONAMI seems to be only catering to Japan nowadays for AC releases.

Why couldn't this mix be epic like X2 was?

Obviously Japan is their target market, so why should they care about the Western world about a game that won't be officially released here as far as we know?

Also I'm pretty sure that London EVOLVED was confirmed as a future unlock a while back.

To those enraged at Silver Dream coming to AC, keep in mind that Unbelievable and Nephilim Delta were EESes beforehand. This too may cycle out.

And this is exactly what a large chunk of community WANTS. They want exactly what Japan gets, and claim that DDR was better before "Western influences". So we get what Japan was going to get and we're still unhappy. I really wonder if people's attitudes would be different had this mix came first then then DDR 2010 and DDR II?

Perhaps they should stop releasing western mixes altogether so that way, if there happens to be a new AC installment, the songs will be new to everybody in the world. Then we in the western world would experience the same element of surprise as Japan. X3 is majorly spoiled for us in terms of the song list.

To be fair last time we got Takayuki Ishikawa with TAG in the sound direction (this time is just TAG right?), seems like this mix needs more TAKA.

NOT jumping on the Silver Dream-hate-bandwagon, the chart definitely is a bit on the awkward side but it's definitely a good addition to the game, and well, what do you expect. Jun is insanely popular amongst "the anime crowd", which is probably the largest segment of the DDR fanbase. There's nothing wrong with showing some love to your fans. Amalgamation Challenge (I called that one a few days ago! lol) is VERY GOOD stuff. My only complain from what I've seen of X3 so far is that the license choice is X1-weak, and the lack of 2nd Mix "action". Other than that, most songs have very good charts and most hard songs (14+) have also been spot-on, I think it's Tag the one who has been directing DDR since X2, and IMO he's been the best since Naoki stepped down from that position back in the Extreme days.

As far as "this mix is so disappointing compared to X2," what are the odds they're doing this on purpose so the next game doesn't have to top much?

Hahaha, Silver Dream. Bad time for it to be unlocked (as in, it should've been default and all), but it's not a bad song.
