Wouldn't Italy performing RIGHT after France be a problem?
Very true, that was a huge problem for Italy when the countries were drawing for the final positions.Voting is now over, now to play the waiting game to see who will win
Rant: So much block voting here, you can hear the booing in the crowd. Oh & Greece in 4th place? Really,,,really?

It's totally the mess... They all vote for their "families" and "neighborhood"

I'm quite surprised on how many points Ukraine has so far, 2nd place right now. Now Ireland is getting their 12s

Remember that the votes have been arranged to make the final parts more exciting.
Hopefully this means Italy charge through and win.

If Italy wins, I would love that honestly, be a great comeback for them.
Shocked about France not getting that many points so far, same with Estonia.
33 countries in & Azerbaijan is in first. Baku 2012 is closer then expected?

Didn't Asia try to do a Eurovision, but utterly failed? Also if it was Baku 2012, no Armenia representative that year?
6 countries to go, current leaders
1. Azerbaijan
2. Italy (Go Italy!)
3. Sweden

Yup, see you next year in Azerbaijan in Baku 2012 (or anywhere else)
Final top 3
1. Azerbaijan (221 points)
2. Italy
3. Sweden
Knew it, but big congrats to Italy for 2nd place beating out the odds!

Not too bad overall. Pretty pleased that Italy and Sweden remained in top three.
also lol @ the gambling odds vs. the actual outcomes.

Greece!? WAT
Then again Greece could send an effeminate man screaming for three minutes and it would go through to the final.
Oh wait, they did in 2006. It was called Yassou Maria.

Malta lost by 1 point behind Switzerland shockingly. I'm more surprised that Norway came in 17th when it was "OMG THIS IS GOING THROUGH" At least San Marino didn't come last, but Croatia should had been in last, she was bad live.
I think this was Slovakia best placing they got since semi finals.
Looking at the favorites to win this year & current placing, its lulzy
France- 15th place
Ireland- 8th place
Hungary- 22nd place
Finland- 21st place
Estonia- 24th place
UK- 11th place (better then last year defiantly)

I know it`s over now...
but want to show you what was up in the subway right before the contest (it was 1 hour before it)
the subway trains were coming like... every 1-2 minutes.
on usual days the are coming every 10 minutes.

Wow seemed like a busy day there after the contest, thanks for all of the pictures Lucie!
Thinking about it, chances are it will be in Baku, where would the stadium be held in? Only music hall I know is Heydar Aliyev Palace, but that holds about 2150 people (doubt it will happen) Another one, which is a football (soccer in US terms) stadium I'm thinking is the Tofiq Bakhramov Stadium but its outdoors (First outdoor Eurovision?) Guess its time to play the waiting game
