ITG would be fun ... if the ITG Elitists would stop hogging the machines all day. Evil

DDR is just more "fun" and less "zomg I stared something". Smile

I prefer DDR, though ITG has some good songs/steps.

I'm getting pretty sick of the elitists going "OMG THIS GUY I KNOW WHO WORKED ON ITG2, SAYS ITG3 IS GONNA COME OUT"

i hate ITG2. too many of the expert 9s are borring, cookie cutter charts with the same patterns and unneeded gallops.

rolls are a great idea, no song implemented them well. i like what they tried to do with july euromix, i hate that the chart fails.

too many songs focused on being OMG hard, and once you reach whatever you set you goal at for a score, they arent any fun to play. vertex^2 isnt fun to play period.

i dont like that they used songs that remind me of other things. when i play ITG2 i see the song from the loreal comercial, the adult swim song, the geico song, two ddr songs, etc. for this same reason, i dislike battle without honor or humanity in supernova US. i want songs i will associate with the game, not other things. mainstream songs are fine, but stuff from movies, comercials, or ANOTHER COMPANYS GAME need to go.

having said all that, i love the first ITG, ITG2 just failed to impress me. some of the ITG3 stuff was aweosome, i LOVE the roll useage in esperanza expert for example. its a shame it wont be finished.

however, no ITG game will compare to the awesomeness of 4th+, 5th, or 7th mixes for me. i give this to DDR, but ITG1 is a great game.

Without DDR there's no ITG. Case Closed.

I haven't played much of ITG, but the charts look like fun. I have to say they're about even.

How is that relevant to the debate?

It's not. It's the fanboy clause.

"rawr."
I dunno if i'll get flamed for bringing this thread back from the dead, but i just wanted to add in my opinion.

For the most part, I like DDR a lot more than ITG just because it is a lot more fun to play and has a whole lot more re-play value than ITG does. But DDR has been having this problem lately of making crazy insane boss songs that make no sense whatsoever, while making the rest of the songs too easy, kind of annoying in my opinion. Also, i don't like how DDR songs seem to HAVE to have incredibly fast/slow BPM's for them to be considered "hard", ITG did a much better job of making stepcharts that were at a reasonable pace, challenging, yet manageable after some practice.

So yeah, DDR wins by a small margin in my opinion

"I'm honestly pissed off."
I liked DDR for a long time, really, and I still play songs from it. But when it came time to transition from 9 to 10, guess who had songs to ease me along? DDR for warmup, ITG for challenge.

I like both but i I prefere ITG: the stepcharts are better, there aren't "paperbaord songs" on ITG!!! The stepcharts are more in rhythm with the song on ITG.
On DDR, some stepcharts aren't in rhythm with the song!!! Sad
But I like very much too DDR!!!! Big Grin
But, there aren't ITG arcade in France it's so sad Sad
But I can to confort myself with ITG on my computer and my pad at home...
