It also won "Best Video Game Soundtrack" at the 2005 VMAs. Did any other DDR releases win awards for anything?

I do remember the closest thing DDR got to winning an award was when it was a Kids Choice Award nominee for "Favorite Video Game" back in 2008.
EDIT: DDR also was awarded as the "Most Widely Used Video Game in Schools" by Guinness World Records.

DDR was the first BEMANI series to recieve a crossover from the jubeat series. That song was Chance and Dice from the original jubeat which was included in DDR X.
Ummmm....You forgot beatmania, IIDX, Pop N' Music, ParaParaParadise, Dance Maniax, and Guitar Freaks/DrumMania.
Unless you worded the statement incorrectly, which by that it would mean that jubeat's first crossover into DDR was Chance and Dice, then yeah I would agree (although the song first appeared in DDR X right? Or jubeat first? I forgot).

I think he means to say that the first appearance of a Jubeat 'original' song in another Bemani game was Chance And Dice appearing in DDRX?

The only game to have a demo of a another game, and Karaoke Revolution PARTY had a demo of EX2. Also taking off the Demo wouldn't have changed anything, the game itself isn't filling up the whole DVD yet. Fairly close. 3.64GBPost #1969 · Posted at 2014-08-21 01:24:43am 9.6 years ago

The artist name Delerium is misspelled in After All (Svenson & Gielen Remix Edit)'s graphics from Ultramix 2.
http://www.discogs.com/artist/2077-Delerium?filter_anv=1&anv=Delirium

Timepiece Phase II was listed DDR SN US CS's master songlist (whatever that is). Although there's no data on the disc or anything else that shows that it could have been on there at one point.
In the game code, DDR simplifies song titles by shortening them to a 5-digit string of text. For example, "Heavy Is A 67 Metallic Gray" is shortened to "heav". The Master Songlist is a text file that lists all of the strings used in the game.
Around the time DDRMAX USA came out, fans figured out how to extract the file from the game disc, and view it as plain text. The ZIV staff keep an updates version of the list here :
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/ddrmasterlist.txt
It includes a lot of songs which were planned for each game, but never got included for whatever reason. Getting assigned a text string is presumably the very first thing that happens, so that it can be used to reference all of the song's assets, so in most cases, this is the only trace of the song ever left on the disc.
Since DDRMAX, we've seen a lot of the 'missing' songs mentioned in the Master List show up years later, so it's possible Konami just stockpile completed (or half completed) songs, and release them in a later game, when they think the time is right.
Thank goodness for linking that master list. I've been trying to find that list on this site for a while now
May I know where are we getting the recent the recent entries to the master list? I'm pretty sure Right on Time (Ryu Remix) wasn;t on that list when we extracted it from DDR X2 PS2 and despite someone's insistence (no offense, though you've probably forgotten this by now, to whom it may concern) that "nobody really has a blu-ray drive on their laptops or desktops", I haven't heard of the DDR 2010 games as having a masterlist nor DDR II for the Wii.
Are we getting these new entries from HDD rips?

^Reminds me of when Universe3 listed actual songs on the box and are not included in the game. Surprised Konami didn't get sued for false advertising.

The CBS series Unforgettable has a scene in tonight's episode that features a DDR Extreme cabinet. The song in the scene was Mikeneko Rock.

I'll do two in one go. Sorry if these are posted before.
1. For those who have played Dynasty Warriors (5 i believe), you've probably played the Nanman stages. Some of the tribal vocal samples I hear are probably based on Afronova's.
2. The CD image of gentle stress (AMD Sexual Mix/Sensual Mix) is based off its BG Animation in IIDX substream.

In Dancing Stage Universe, one of the licensed songs have its official music video and displays 2 hippo's (or rhino's I forget) mating.
Dancing Stage Fever's case artwork had Groove Is In The Heart as a licensed song but the song wasn't in game.
Dancing Stage Unleashed used the images from Ultramix 1 showing Castle's In The Sky, which we didn't get.

Here is the movie, 'pills2', a bunch of jumping ellipsoids.
And here's the movie 'amoeba4', a white ball of goop.
These movies together don't seem like a good combo, since they aren't related...right?
Wait...something about those colors are familiar...
Thin red... thick orange... thick tan... thin black...
WOW.
I guess they are related after all (using the same texture).

0'48 in. Phwoar.
Continuing the list of things that the tribal scream has been in, I present this that made a pretty decent dent in the UK Top 40 about 10 years ago. 1'46 in this.
