To further elaborate on what SupremeX brought up, "MAKE A JAM!" directly samples an early Konami vanity plate that was used, if memory serves me right, in most regions except the US in the mid to late '90s.
This is the vanity plate in question.
Could've sworn this was already brought up several times in this thread by now, but whatever.

to SupremeX, you got it the other way around, MAKE A JAM! is made from Konami's intro jingle. It even has Konami's old logo in the background.

Yeah. Again. Sampled.
Listening to the song again, it sounds like the jingle was taken straight from the logo (most notably in the endings, where the ending of the song matches identically with the ending of the logo) and looped accordingly, Daft Punk style. Hence, one can deduce that MAKE A JAM! sampled the jingle (current research gives me no clue as to who actually made the jingle), likely out of respect for Konami (it was one of the first songs Yuichi made for the series).
More facts involving the jingle (for no real reason): the vanity plate was being used as early as 1994 [citation]. MAKE A JAM! never came around until 1999. [citation]

Doing a bit of research on this, these are the only CS games to get a "distinction":
Playstation "Greatest Hits":
Dance Dance Revolution Konamix
DDRMAX2 Dance Dance Revolution
Xbox "Platinum Hits":
Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX
Not DDR, but Dance Evolution got a "Platinum Hits" distinction too.

In the song Boom Boom Dollar.
It's DDR USA but in BG says "Dance Dance Revolution third Mix"
Maybe KONAMI could have eliminated this part because "third mix" doesn't correspond the USA version.

maybe because as you can see from the UI, it's copied straight from DDR 3rdMIX, hence the "third mix" in the background.

That's odd. Boom Boom Dollar started in 2nd Mix JP AC then had a remix (K.O.G G3 Mix) in 3rd Mix AC. Meanwhile it was ported to 2nd Remix (PS JP)/Mix (DC JP) then K.O.G G3 Mix got ported to 3rd Mix (PS JP). As for DDR "1st Mix" (aka USA) PS US even though it runs on the 3rd mix engine/theme most of the songs were from Best Hits with some differences in the song list at least I think. I hope I didn't give anyone a headache on this, then again if we had direct ports we wouldn't have headaches like this (at least for me anyway).
Ok I think Sliverhawke had the better explanation.

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (their de facto navy) is planning a new ship called the "DDR Destroyer Revolution". You have to wonder if this was named as a tribute to you know what... Construction is currently scheduled to start in 2021.

Excluding Konoko, Gekkou Chou, and that baseball song. Asaki has never composed a song originally for DDR.

It's not just Asaki, but a majority of artists that have worked or still work for BEMANI like Qrispy Joybox, 96, and DJ TOTTO to name a few.

Asaki was the one who composed Deadball de Homerun?
That song feels so different from everything else he's worked on, I actually wouldn't have expected that.
