Did you know that in EVERY DDR ARCADE MIX...there are NEW SONGS?!?

lol Dancing Stage Fusion AC.

Lets then say that every arcade mix has songs new to the arcade series, DS Fusion is a strange technicality. And it's hard to say "poor EU" when they got a new arcade during the drought when America and even Japan was still rocking EXTREME.

To be honest, Fusion AC is/was quite fun with casual friends who only know mainstream music.

I understand where your shit comes from, though, and I agree in that sense.

Dazzlin' Darlin's tune was originally inspired by "More & More" by DJ Hixxy back in 2006.

I personally think this should of made it into IIDX/DDR instead of what we have now.

When an arcade release comes out a year after its PS2 version with FEWER SONGS (and with even fewer than the last one that appeared in 2002), I have a problem.

Not really, it's just a vocal sample.

Dunno if this is 'interesting'... but here in Lima, Peru, there were a lot of bootleg 3rd MIX machines that booted the console version with a PSX inside the cabinet.

Welcome to ZIv, Furanki.

I don't think that video game piracy would really count as something interesting about the series though. I remember seeing a 2ndReMIX Playstation cabinet in Johor Bahru, Malaysia... wish I had taken pictures, the "cabinet" was fabulously tragic.

As far as 3rdMIX goes, that was in itself an interesting mix in a lot of ways. Especially how Maniac ( Heavy ), which had existed since the series started, was segregated and marketed as a separate super-hard mode. It even forced the arrows to Flat, and this was before speed mods. But it was the only game in the series to do this.

The Playstation version of 3rdMIX had 3rdReMIX which allowed Manaic charts to re-integrate into main gameplay.

On another note, I miss Unison.

Unless I'm forgetting something, Petite Love was the only song from the pre-Max era that didn't find it's way onto a console release. Most people think that the Beatles reference in the chorus caused some legal issues with it.

Thanks AeronPeryton.
Yeah, I kinda had my doubts on that.
I consider myself pree-tty lucky of having played on an original DDR 3rdMIX cabinet since almost all were bootlegs. Actually, most of the DDR machines in Lima were 3rdMIX bootlegs. Which is the main reason why 3rdMIX was the most popular version locally.

And it was a great mix too.

And for my second try on delivering an interesting fact... 'Kids in America' was the only license that appeared on all of DDREX US counterparts (DS Fusion and DDR Festival) besides on the main game itself.

"I really want to hurt you."
Although you can't edit them in SuperNova, you can import the 5 online-exclusive songs by outputting them from a SuperNova2 library. You can play them in game mode, but they scroll at a slow, constant speed.

They all scroll at Peace's bpm...which causes most of them to end the stage before the song is over.

Wait I'm sort of confused by this.So you're saying I can't edit an Online-Exclusive song from SuperNova(i.e. Nijiiro)but I can import them to SuperNova 2 but they scroll at a Slow Speed??
On Topic: (Not Sure if any of these have been Posted Yet)
Trip Machine CLIMAX is the Fastest Trip Machine to date, with 180 BPM,With Trip Machine Survivor Coming Second with 170 BPM
And the rest(Trip Machine,Luv Mix and PhoeniX) with 160 BPM.
(I'm sure most of the people who know Gradius and 3rd Mix/2nd Mix Club VERSiON know this)
GRADIUSIC CYBER(And it's remix GRADIUSIC CYBER AMD G5 MIX) is a compilation of sound-bits from Gradius merged into a Song

I've already said this before. But it's no big deal. Smile

And, you can edit them in SuperNova 2 and then output and play the EDITED copies from SN2 in SN1 with the same steps you made in SN2's editor.

In DDR X2, there's a bug for Max Love that causes any edit of the song to have maxed out groove radar stats, except for the Freeze portion, despite what the song actually has. This appears in Japanese and American cabs.

And isn't the Dance Dance Revolution Challenge chart just a collection of bits from other charts too? So which bit of DDR did Revolution use and what song was THAT bit originally from? So meta...

It works exactly like 4thMIX Battle Mode without being split apart visually, both players share a single 4-panel field. One color for player one and player two, and one color for both players at the same time.
