This movie is a ghost. It doesn't appear in any sort of DDR song at all.

What I think happened here was it was SUPPOSED to be used in The Whistle Song - Blow My Whistle Bitch in DDRMAX2 (this also might explain why Kaliedoscope13 is in it's background AND banner, but not used), alongside a few other 3DTextura movies, but eventually Billion Toman and Rice.C decided to use that strange bunny doing aerobics and other similar movies instead. And this movie was never used in anything else.

It's still likely it might be in a song in DDRMAX2 Arcade (especially since another movie that I thought was never used was found EXCLUSIVELY on Max2 Arcade in AFRONOVA), and I have been trying to track down videos like LUV TO ME AMD MIX and ABSOLUTE and etc. being played on Max2 Arcade for a year, but everyone just HAS to prefer Extreme/Supernova more...

If you have seen this movie before, please PM me and beware. I'd also like a video of the song it appears in being played in Max2 arcade, just for proof.

I still don't get why so many songs in MAX2 had their video sequences altered in EXTREME. Most of them becoming inferior.

I know. Some of them are so boring. You can't tell the difference between EXTREME'S BROKEN MY HEART, CAN'T STOP FALLING IN LOVE, Electro Tuned, true radio edit, or Midnight Blaze's BGScripts, since they all use Cube7/12/13/Tunnel15/Colors2/Film5. But what can you tell if you look at the pre-Extreme BGScripts?

*BROKEN MY HEART uses Lens1, Kaliedoscope10, Text13, and Snow1
*CAN'T STOP FALLING IN LOVE uses Circle11, Spiral2, Tunnel6, Cyber1, Cyber2, and Pentagon1
*Electro Tuned uses Kaliedoscope8, Cyber2, Amoeba4, Fireworks4, and Bubble2
*Midnight Blaze uses Circle9, Circle10, Emi5, Emi6, Bluey1, Heat1 Lady19, and Lady18
*true... (radio edit) uses Riyu1, Riyu2, Riyu3, Riyu5, Riyu6, Riyu7, Riyu8, and Riyu10

That's funny.... They all use completely different videos (31 total) instead of the same 5 ones listed above!

And there are similar songs that have this flaw (like most of the 1st/2nd/Club mix BGScripts in EXTREME).

More, there are like, at least 200 movies with potential that could have made it to EXTREME, such as...

http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text29.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/egg1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/dance3.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/lady14a.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/ring1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/circle2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/lines2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/square5.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/dance5.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/dancers4.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/spiral1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/cross1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/sphere2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/ring5.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/tunnel13.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/max2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/cards1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/circle5.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/puppet3.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/floor1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/ring13.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/groove1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/girl2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/film1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/fire5.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/twirl1a.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/kaliedoscope7.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/robot1.jpg

These movies are actually good and appealing to look at, and seem more full of life, but they still felt like getting rid of these anyway. In general I don't like DDR Extreme, I prefer DDRMAX2 by a longshot. Even DDRMAX is better. Extreme is just too over-rated, we already have a simulator from beware so we don't have to find an ACTUAL arcade version, while we don't have DDRMAX/DDRMAX2 simulators. I kind of wish Max2 was more popular. People need to stop kissing Extreme's ass. PureBlue put this best;

Songs > videos
Songs > dancers
Songs > flashy interface
Songs > anything thats not a song

Thats why Extreme is often favored over 7th Mix. 7th Mix has Justify My Love, Trance De Janiero and Stay. Aside from that, everything else worth playing is in Extreme. DDR is ultimately about the songs. Yeah, 7th Mix had better videos. Extreme had more songs and its really easy to argue that the Extreme content is better over all than the 5 or 6 songs 7th mix has that it doesn't. Just like almost no one will say that 6th Mix is better than 7th Mix just for Flash In The Night and Bye Bye Baby Balloon because the rest of 6th Mix is in 7th Mix and the 7th Mix content trumps those two songs.

On to your original point, does 7th Mix have the 6th Mix HVAM video? HVAM isn't in 7th Mix CS for me to check.

To be fair, I think they made a mistake leaving out More Than I Needed To Know and A Minute. Even if it's because of licensing issues, I wonder how they didn't have longer rights to the songs, while they had rights to almost everything else.

Yes. The below video has it being played on DDRMAX2 with Wave3 and Lady2, movies rejected from Extreme.

Every single song that is on DDRMAX 6th Mix on Extreme had their BGScript altered. Even Groove 2001 (it goes over the 'BREAK, DOWN' part and just gets to the cubes bulging out of the wall). Like I said, it's because they wanted to squeeze in some shoddily made movies and some other weird cartoon animations like Orange1, Bear3-5, etc.

Don't forget shitty audio quality.

Also seems like most people play Extreme for crossovers and OLD licenses more than anything else.

Thats not the 6th mix video.

@0:49

That video isn't playing at that same spot (when you can actually hear Healing Vision in it) in the 7th Mix video you linked.

So its not like Extreme was the only game that altered videos.

They may have altered it since those clips were also used for GHOSTS which got cut after 6th Sad

Yes, I am aware some videos from 6th MIX were pushed out.

http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/rainbow2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/star2.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/rainbow1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/geometry1.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/helix1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/ribbon2.jpg

And, if the pattern is correct (via the apparent official data of the videos)...

http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/rainbow2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/star2.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/rainbow1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/geometry1.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/cube9.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/heart1.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/circle6.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/wheel1.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/bluey2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/tunnel2.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/cards1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/fire1.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/helix1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/ribbon2.jpg
http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/circle8.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/stairs1.jpg

But still, that's only at most 9-12 videos compared to the 200 Extreme removes.

Here is a set of movies.

http://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text29.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text3.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text4.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/arrows2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text18.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text25.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/circle3.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text30.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/lines1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/circle2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text23.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text6.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/lines3.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text24.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text1.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/lines2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text2.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text27.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text7.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text26.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/text28.jpghttp://ddr.bircd.org/vidthumbs/moon1.jpg

On the official discs, they are all known as 'jt****' They all made it to Max2, I know this for a fact;

However, this entire category of movies were removed for stupid reasons. I don't get it. All of them added up is only 7 MB, while 'jb****' (including the shoddy movies) is 20 MB.

Also, concering HVAM, it appears as though another category of movies, 'jd****', including Lady2, Wave3, and Snow2, apparently got removed.

Another set of videos I didn't see mentioned is Twilight Zone. I did some YouTubing and its 6th Mix CS (probably the same as the AC video but I'm having a hard time finding that on YouTube where as I just have to put 6th Mix in my PS2) video appears to have been used entirely in 7th Mix, but for Max2 US it used a brand new video and that same video was used for Extreme AC... Or vice versa if Extreme AC came out first.

Yes, Extreme AC came out first...and as a result all the songs from the arcade use the Extreme versions instead of Max2. Just compare Secret Rendez-vous or D2R to AC. (Or Even Secret Rendez-vous on MAX US)

Compare
true... (radio edit)

DDR MAX 7th MiX (AC)

(me playing LOL!)

DDR MAX 6th Mix (AC/CS)

* All the RIYU clips are present on MAX (AC), and some of them got removed from MAX2 (AC).

And the same thing occurs with true... (Trance Sunrise Mix)

DDR MAX 7th MIX (AC) / DDR MAX (PS2-N.A.)
*I'm pretty sure MAX2 AC and MAX CS N.A. shared the same video. I used to play both a lot.

DDR MAX 6th Mix (AC/CS)

* KONAMI just got rid of them by the time EXTREME (AC) was released.

Every single one of these movies didn't make the cut to EXTREME, alongside jt****, jk****, and jd****. More, every single category before jb**** and jc**** were bogged down to make room for the two new categories. While the movies above, I don't really care about, I'm sure some people might prefer these movies more than the ones in EXTREME.

You have a Max2 cabinet?

http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131019001843/dancedancerevolutionddr/images/b/b8/Jsedca.gif

Do you vaguely remember seeing this movie ANYWHERE? I am rather intent on locating this movie in gameplay, alongside other similar movies for ideas for fan-made bgscripts. If you still have the cabinet, can you look through the songs in the list below and see if you can locate that + any of the other videos below? I don't wanna resort to an emulator of DDRMAX2 AC unless I feel like it's the only way to find the movies below.

You know what would be cool? To modify beware's DDR Extreme to have all the missing videos restored, so basically the priority of video sequences for all applicable songs would be

6th
7th

And also bring in More Than I Needed To Know, Bye Bye Baby Balloon, Flash in the Night, A MINUTE, Baby Love me, etc.

Basically the 6th and 7th mix songs that didn't make EXTREME.

In this video, the choreographic for "I'm so happy" has similiar steps than Sacred Oath HP3.

DDR II - I'm so happy

DDR HP 3 - Sacred Oath

And especially More Than I Needed To Know.

This is doing at least 218 movies a favor. (Although it might actually wipe out some of the EXTREME ones)

@SupremeX: A lot of the songs in DDR II that have the characters doing choreographed moves are pretty much randomized and/or recycled on a ton of songs, nothing really note-worthy about that.
