Was there supposed to be a drop down menu when I hover my mouse there? Because its not loading now, but it used to appear.
I was a bit surprised that the User Point warning is used as the icon for notifications. I can't think of a proper replacement icon, so I'll shut up about that.

You don't hover, you must click for it to load.
I'll figure out something to group the notifications together.
1. Your dropdown only shows 10 notifications, therefore it only marks 10 as "seen" and the other two remain as new.
2. I'll figure out some grouping, but you only get notifications for the first 5 posts after your last post.
3. I'll disable notifications for bumps.
4. No.
5. Long click? Probably not cross-browser. There is a Delete All Notifications on the left menu though.
6. I'll add this later.

I HAVE A QUESTION. And since I'm so obviously superior to all of you, you must answer it.
Sometimes I keep Z~i~V in another tab while browsing the web. What if, when we had a notification, the number that you have shows up in parenthesis next to the website name?
So the example:
Normally, it would say "Zenius-i-Vanisher.com -5th style- II" right now. It can maybe say something like "(1) Zenius-i-Vanisher.com -5th style-II" if you had one notification.
Just a suggestion.

That's an idea, although it might conflict with the Chat; as that does exactly the same thing.

It's supposed to be like that at the moment, it counts every 5 posts after your last one.
Clear out your notifications to get rid of it, but I might change that behaviour soon.

one of the things that bugs me about the current notification layout is that there are too many words.
the thing i'm most interested in is the thread title. i have to read a bunch of user names before i get to the thread title and it just makes checking notifications at a glance much more difficult.
so it's in my opinion that the wording should look like:
"new reply(s) in awesome thread."
"new updates at awesome arcade"
"new private message by awesome user."
i think the title of the thread or arcade is the most important and is what i look for first, but having to read a bunch of text before i get to it slows me down.
