Pretty excited for more MAX and SHK, as well as DM Ashura and BIG BANG.
Kind of sad that there are no locations near me that would even consider upgrading to Fiesta, let alone Fiesta EX.
Also, I feel like they really wanted to call it "Fiesta Second Innovation" and changed it at the last minute

The fact that it's the machine used for WPF 2011 will surely force some places to upgrade. They obviously sell enough machines every year to make a profit, because new Pump has been a rarity for years now, but keeps putting out genuinly innovating new machines every year.

B.P.M. (one of the people who makes PIU! Fiesta) actually did say that this is just a patch for the Fiesta mix, so they're not gonna release it as a whole new mix. So yeah, Fiesta is somewhat considered to be a 1- or 2-year mix.
Now for the EX patch, I'm pretty amazed. It takes PIU! to a whole new generation! I can't wait to try out the songs when the patch releases!

This patch is out, but it's not an official 1.10ver patch. This was just a test patch (so the new songs/revivals just has Fiesta's generic BGA). For the Fiesta EX patch, these songs will have their new, original BGAs and possibly new steps [so truly the EX patch will be the official patch.]

The 1.10 patch is not just a test patch, They didn't include videos due to the size issues. BPM *never* confirmed that it would be a patch for sure. He just stated that the next patch would "be beyond our imaginations". Yes, they used it in the teaser but that doesn't confirm that it's a patch.
And to further confirm, The 1.10 update is available now for all Fiesta kits on their website.

Nice, that means the machine in Singapore should be updated by the time I get there.
I think it would be cool if Andamiro settled on a "3rdMIX, 3rdMIX PLUS, 4thMIX, 4thMIX PLUS" release pattern. It would keep the mixes fresh and prevent arcade owners from having to buy entire new kits each time there's a new version.
