Pink Turbo

Am I the only one that has been a little disappointed with this band's songs in BEMANI? Currently, Pink Turbo has the following songs in BEMANI:

starmine -swallowtail mix- (pop'n 18 Sengoku Retsuden)
shining (DDR X2)
Kiss Me (GFDM XG)
Fellow (jubeat knit)
DAYDREAMER (beatmania IIDX 18 Resort Anthem)
Fuyukoi (pop'n music 19 TUNE STREET)

Honestly, when I first heard the starmine remix, I was really stoked to see more songs from this group. That song was one of the nicest J-Girl Rock BEMANI songs since the days of BeForU. Unfortunately, their songs following starmine have been...less than stellar. They're not really bad, they are all pretty average songs, but the thing that is annoying me is that every single song from Pink Turbo/Makino has been J-Girl Rock, which is really making all their songs blend together. It would be nice to see Makino collaborate with some BEMANI artists to see what she's made of.

Anyways, use this thread to comment on this new group that has entered BEMANI.

J-Girl Rock would be good after all of the BeForU stuff going around. The only people I can see it working is Tomosuki, RYU (With his happy hardcore) and MAYBE Kors K. But Kors K is great no matter who he's with so let's not count that one.

I don't know, I liked DAYDREAMER, starmine remix and fellow a lot. I can't really stand the *shining* cover though.
I cannot really say that they're my favorite BEMANI group or something, but they're not bad.

Also fellow was composed by U1, so that is something, I guess.

Really? Very interesting...

I actually like most of fellow, but I feel like the chorus really drags the song down. It definitely is my favorite Pink Turbo song after starmine though.
