I would have to say that the cabinet for the AC version looks... awful. >.< It's all... boxy and ugly. No style what so ever. It looks like it was rushed with the design. But then again it's just a beta cabinet, I believe. Right?

Yeah. The cabinet in the flyer was the first prototype and it's changed since then. The side art in the picture was actually designed for the newer cabinet which is why it looks a little funky.

Well at least they have a bunch of music that would have been used in ITG

Had no idea this even existed until I bumped into one at Namco Trafford Centre. It's kinda fun!

It's been officially announced that Silvertear of DDR fame (So Deep) is making an exclusive track for ReRave Arcade. One can only hope that this song gets ported to the iOS version which is said to have a song pack coming within the next 20 days.

ReRave Arcade also received its first song update with Pretty Ugly (Jump Smoker's Remix) by Yenn and Shooting Star by Discotronic.

I was going to post about this but you beat me to it. Anyways, I'm hoping it's going to be a difficult chart (while still maintaining a unique max combo for all difficulties). As for ReRave iOS, I hope it gets updated because it needs some serious work.

I'm still waiting for them to fix the crashing bugs on the iPad 1 due to RAM management issues, it's been mentioned to them since January if not longer.

They've stated that they are concentrating on the AC version and will go back to the iOS version when things have calmed down AC wise... Yeah, I'd be surprised if we see any updates soon.

That's because it honestly is. It's Kyle, Chris and 2-3 coders. The 4 of them not only do iOS but arcade as well.

ReRave has so much potential. I really do love the game, however the little things are really starting to bug me.

Plain text passwords. Real security risk if you use your iOS device on a public wifi. Not only that but iOS passwords are stored in plain text on the server. Not going to say that much about this, but all your passwords are completely vulnerable to anyone that knows how to use webdev/packet editor.

Game crashing. Not so bad, but can annoying when trying for a #1

Lastly, lack of optimisation for older iOS devices such as the iPad1. No way should anyone have to buy a newer device to get better score.

My irk is that it's available on IOS devices, but that's just me blindly hating apple because I think it's hilarious.
I equally don't own an android device. Those things are expensive.

Hopefully we'll see a rerave cabinet showing up in NZ at some point. Would be really neat. Provided it was set up properly, didn't cost $2 a game for like 3 songs and didn't break after 20 minutes of play time from people using their face to feel the notes.
