Pretty slick, though I'm hoping for a more polished V8 this time - V7's interface and appearance really lack any personality and look like an afterthought compared to what they did with XG.
The songlist could use a boost too. IMO XG/V7 had one of the weaker overall songlists in a while, and the Extra Rush stages were nothing to write home about.

Forgive me if this is already covered but I noticed on the BMI Gaming website (an arcade distributor) that they have mentioned these games to be released in mid-2011 in the U.S.

Another reason why I was not wanting to call XG2 an official announcement, because of the picture of DDR X2 on that page.

One would assume the only people to have played it would be the japanese, but they're in strife at the moment too so we'll have to wait a while to get news and locations from them or the asian countries further afield.

I was told a while ago that Konami was possibly interested in releasing GFdm XG in America but have not heard anything of it since. I was told the cabinets were gonna be "dumbed down" like they did with DDR X and X2 to make it "affordable" for the American market. With the new smaller cabinets coming out I think its definitely possible that Konami may release it here but I wouldn't count on it until a location test was at least held.

Looking at the songlist for this. Licenses look promising (I hope the cover of Change is good), as do the revivals. I'd also like to see the new World Sequence song.
