How To Unlock copious Markers Without e-AMUSEMENT (Version 2.7.0 to 2.9.0)
1. Plug in your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad.
2. Download, extract and run i-FunBox: i-FunBox
3. On the left, expand "User Applications" and find the game you want to retrieve the scores for and expand that game.
4. Find jukebeat/Library/Preferences/jp.konami.jukebeat.plist (for jukebeat) or jukebeat/Library/Preferences/jp.konami.jubeatplus.plist (for jubeat plus), right-click that file and click "Copy to PC ..." and save it somewhere.
5. Open that file in a text editor.
6. Before </dict>, add the following:
<key>PrefCopiousUnlocked</key>
<true/>
7. Save the file.
8. In i-FunBox, click the "Copy From PC" button on the top toolbar.
9. Find the file and click Open.
10. The copious markers should now be unlocked the next time you start up the game.

One problem with this awesome idea. The ipad can only register so many presses at once right? I think the ipad only allows something like 4 fingers at one time.

{If you don't understand what I'm talking about, think about the NDS. It can only register one press at a time.

Yeah, jubeat would have issues as there are instances where 5+ buttons would be pressed at once and at very high speeds.

I randomly read once that iPad's 4-finger touch thing is a software related thing and not a hardware related thing. I guess making jubeat a 5-finger game isn't going to be an impossible task?

EDIT - neothe0ne posted a really good link before I posted.... but wait! Isn't this game also listen for touch/phone? How many fingers can that thing recognize? I have one and I guess like 3-4? Uh oh! lol This is assuming they don't make the touch/phone version different from the pad version.

That the OS itself only recognises four finger input for commands is completely arbitrary. The display hardware is far more advanced that the track pads on Apple notebooks and is capable of detecting many many touches and other things that no one has really tried to take advantage of yet. One just needs to write a program that would even care.

The iPhone and iPod touch use the same touchscreen technology as the iPad. The only thing I can see happening is the older iDevices that can't upgrade to the latest iOS may not be able to support such a program. Run with the assumption that you would need the latest operating system to make this work, in iOS 4 Apple opened up a lot of new APIs... perhaps that's what has kept jubeat off the platform until now.

As for the video neo posted, that's what it can do under 3.2. iOS 4 is slated for iPad release this fall. Same time as jubeat plus.
