we're only a few months before jubeat saucer is released on Japanese arcades.

Maybe after the last copious pack comes out, we'll finally get a knit and/or copious theme?

How long did it take for the ripples one to come out?

The ripples theme came out around July 20, 2011, 2 months before copious was released. We could be seeing a knit theme soon, but honestly nobody knows if we'll ever get another theme.

aside from the knit theme(if they ever plan to release one), I really hope they add a restart button(this is long overdue) and best scores per song similar to ReRave next update. The Global rankings are so unfair to be honest.

Hmm...Not sure about a Knit Theme as I have never seen it's interface before(But I have seen videos of gameplay of songs like FLOWER,Evans and Concon)but I agree with you on the Restart button...it's kinda tedious pausing the game,returning to the song select screen,pick the song again and get a mistake rinse and repeat.

That's right.

Now I am wondering what this means for future saucer songpacks. How many songs must saucer have to keep the packs releasing at the same steady rate, without running out?

They slowed down a -lot- after the first or second copious pack - it has taken just under 7 months to get the 8 packs we have now, releasing many more artist packs instead. 21 of the original music packs were released in the same length of time. I imagine Konami original packs are only going to get further and further apart, with either artist packs picking up the slack or simply letting up on the release schedule for a while.

The gap in between jubeat plus' copious packs are similar/quite on par with jukebeat's gap of KONAMI music packs. The only difference is that jubeat plus gets more license/KONAMI related packs as filler updates while on jukebeat, if there's no update, no new songpacks and they pretty much keep the license packs/KONAMI packs on a 50/50 ratio.
