I have only played this once and i thought it was good a bit hard to get used to but they say.

Haha, I absolutely love pop'n music, would be nice if I had a proper ASC though alas I can just imagine the import tax on that baby.

I love pop'n music, too. It's my favorite bemani. I found it rather diifcult at first (I tried 9 line first). I played on 5 line for a while, and then started playing some of the easier stuff on 9 line, and now I can pass roughly half of the hyper charts, and a few of the EXs.
It's buckets of fun, once you get into it, and there's a good variety of music to enjoy!

pop'n music would be way much more fun if I actually owned an ASC, but I have to put up with a mini controller for now which sometimes the keys don't activate when you want it to and activate when you don't want it to . Other than that, it's a great game for everyone I reckon .

I don't mind the mini-controller at all. It would be cool to have an ASC, but I don't feel like dropping $300+ for it.

I've been meaning to get into Pop'N too, but I haven't found hide nor hair of it anywhere.
Right after I said that, I went and googled locations and found one in St. Joseph, which is like a 2 hour drive north of where I normally live. I'm in college though, which is about an hour east of normal. Needless to say, I'm not going to be able to convince my parents to drive me all that way just so I can visit an arcade. The same goes for me not going to Kansas City even though it's well-known for its gaming crowds.

Anyway yeah, PoMu looks like hella fun going all clacka-clacka on the buttons. Maybe if it comes out for the Wii I'll look into it.

Nope, pop'n 14 FEVER is on Arcade and PlayStation 2, but the PS2 version isn't coming out until July 12th.

I am still training on the gameplay, can do only bits of 9-button (11 and lower. Except for Ali Pro in FEVER).

I own Carnival, but no modded PS2 or a ASC.

So playing till Hyper will take ages and money-mooching on the arcades. XP

Still don't have an ASC... have been playing using a PS2 emulator and a wired Xbox 360 controller. Needless to say, it sucks for having to do multiple button presses, so it'll be a while before I get any good (if I ever get any good)...
