One side of my mind says:
Wicked nice, puts the FX to shame.
The other side says:
KONAMI WILL SUE
p.s. Also notice the new pads, as demonstrated on a FX cabinet by the Pro 2 guys.

Thank got the stage isn't attached to the machine like the new DDR cabinets. That would be a nightmare.

Is Pump It Up Pro getting this cabinet as well?
I would like to see better shots of the stage, it actually looks like a good redesign (making the arrows and other elements more flush with the rest of the stage).

They aren't connected, it's just a platform that fits between the pads and cabinet. I actually like this, it means you don't have to step down when you go up to choose your song.Quote: AeronPeryton

Its highly simmilar, and it takes the same goal: reduce costs.
The Cabinet is more reduced and is really simmilar to X cabinets. I think the weight difference between Konami X Cabinet and the Andamiro TX Cabinet will be short.

If these machines work fine and are still cheaper, then why can't KONAMI do the same?

Konami didn't make the X cabinet for US release. Raw Thrills maded the cabinet.
I hope X2 cabinet will be better ^^

I don't think the Japanese DDR X cabinet was designed to save costs. They took the existing machine and added to it. Better speakers, an HD display, and totally useless LED columns on it. They made a DX cabinet for DDR. Much the same way they've been slowly improving the quality of IIDX machines. If they're actually saving money over the classic design I'm impressed. I'm not even going to talk about the English design. Like Jar Jar Binks and Star Trek V, they're not even considered canon.
Andamiro's TX cabinet -might- be saving them money over the FX cabinet, especially since the stage design uses fewer parts. But compared to the older designs, again, it's likely more of an issue that it's getting harder and harder to find parts suppliers for them.

yeah, i dont know how they would be able to save that much money compared to the FX cabs, which are pretty compact compared to other cabinets. they may have been saving some money with the small pad parts, but im not entirely sure if that outweighs the costs added to the cabinet itself. Then again, im not entirely sure how everything functions on the machine, but im going to say that its not so much for cost but more for efficiency

a company called Partec made both US DDR X cabinets with instruction from Konami. this facility also makes RawThrills games. Betson distributes these games.
the DDR X JP cab was meant to be a deluxe cabinet like what we've seen with the craziness of GF/DM XG cabinets.
the new TX pads from Andamrio reduce costs by eliminating a lot of parts and improves on the design for players benefits. i'm sure the TX cab also has cost in mind, but Andamrio does a better job at developing a good looking cabinet and thinks about costs than other companies.
even though i had gripes with the FX cabinet i liked it for its originality and i wish they would have just improved upon that design or made something just as original. this new cabinet seems a lot like the X cabs, but i don't think i can really say much by just looking at these low quality pictures.
i still haven't found out where those cabinets are located other than some where in China. i believe they may be some where in Taiwan and from the look of the pictures it seems like they were at a trade expo. maybe we can get D to find out more from local players.

it looks like a modified DDR X cabinet.
