I was wondering, does Bemani have any leaks of Demo songs and/or Unreleased songs.

"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana" |
It's hard to know without being on the inside of the BEMANI production team. However, I can think of a few things:
-U1 stated in an interview that he often makes songs for fun and does not release them.
-I've heard rumors that the song D2R was originally created for 2nd mix. This, however, seems unlikely as the musical style of D2R closely follows that of other NAOKI songs around the time period of MAX-EXTREME. Then again, it's always possible that he could have remixed the original tune he made. In any event, backlogging seems pretty common in the BEMANI world.
-The original PS3/360 DDR trailer has a short clip of a very beta "A Brighter Day". Watch. The original CS trailers for DDR SN/UM4/Uni had a slightly different version of My Only Shining Star (in that the rap vocals were gone and some of the instrumental parts were longer), although this mix was released later on a V-rare, if I recall correctly.
-On the location test for pop'n music 12 いろは, the song CURUS was originally vocalized by Osamu Migitera himself, but the final version of the game featured female vocals on the song. As far as I know, the Osamu Migitera vocal version was never released.
All I can think of right now.

-There's the famous Red. by Full Metal Jacket (IIDX 17) location test version, based of off "CHANGE-fullchange-ver." which can be found in DJ Mass MAD Izm*'s myspace. Dunno if it's still there though.
-Timepiece phase II (GF10DM9) has been in the DDR master song list since DDR SN2.
-NEMESIS (IIDX 5) was nearly in DDRMAX CS US IIRC. The song can be ripped from the game.

Requesting this thread to be changed to the "Unreleased BEMANI songs" thread, this sounds very interesting >_>

I swear I heard this as the preview for Curus MH-D on the Request Best page.

I think the DDR PS3/360 trailer snippet of A Brighter Day might be from the full version. Not sure...

That'a a rock version of the song. Perhaps the location test version is just the original CURUS with Osamu Migitera's vocals?

It's not, the vocals are way different, as is the music. The full version has nothing like that in it.

I think that by definition, anything "unreleased" means that we've never heard it? If it's not good enough to end up in a game, then Konami usually don't let it get out. The only exceptions I can think of are :
* The full version of Why Not, which was played on a radio show.
* The original version of Starmine that was entered into Konami's competition, and later found tucked away on Ryu's website, after the song had been re-recorded for IIDX.
* The original version of Dive, of which only 5 copies were printed, and then given away to people who instantly put MP3 files of it onto the internet.
* IIDX Red Trax. Same deal as above.

This may not be too far off; NAOKI said that D2R is a medley/re-interpretation of sorts of some songs he had made earlier that did not make any games for whatever reason.
NAOKI has also stated he often records longer versions of his songs but hasn't released most of them.

IIRC, this also happens to A Thing Called Love in SN2 loctest

A thing called LOVE was never present on any SN2 location test. A song called "Unbound Mind" was released on pop'n music 16 PARTY which had a similar melody to A thing called LOVE but was in Japanese and sung by Osamu Migitera and some Japanese female vocalist.

I'd say that's a VERY early version of the song. The track is different, Autotune (or any equivalent software) has not been applied yet, and the words "A Brighter Day" is sung instead of "So Here I Go" in the beginning of the chorus.
