I've added one big rule. Simfile must have , , and charts. any other charts are allowed but not required I felt the NES collab felt uncomplete with some songsd having just charts.
Link to the category is on the 1st post and everyone who has announced a song as been added as a co-owner.

Boss Battle/Final Fantasy 2
Isn't Final fantasy 2 NES? not SNES?I kinda figured you be confused with this.
what I posted in the NES was the Japan FF2 which was never released in America until Final Fantasy Origins was released for Playstation and was re-released for GBA as FF 1 & 2: Dawn of Souls.
The Final Fantasy 2 for the SNES is actually Final Fantasy 4 in Japan (remember they get Final Fantasy before we do), I might as well tell you the whole thing, Our Final Fantasy 3, their Final Fantasy 3 was never released in America until recently for the DS, is their Final Fantasy 6, it wasn't until Final Fantasy 7 where everything is correct.
I hope I cleared up the confusion.

FF2 JP : NES = FF Origins NA : PS = FF 1&2 DoS NA : GBA.
FF2 NA : SNES = FF4 JP.
FF3 NA : DS = FF6 JP.
FF3 JP =FF# NA.
FF7 NA = FF7 JP.
FF(n where n > 7) NA = FF(n) JP.
I hope I cleared up the confusion.

OK, here's the first six Japanese games in the order they appeared stateside:
FF1: NES
FF4: SNES ("FF2" in US)
FF6: SNES ("FF3" in US)
FF2: PSX (originally on NES JP)
FF5: PSX (originally on SNES JP)
FF3: DS (originally on NES JP)
The only naming confusion is from FF4 SNES being released stateside as "FF2", and FF6 SNES being released as "FF3". The Japanese FF2 and FF3 (which were skipped over in the US) were both on the NES.
Also it would've been more accurate for me to say FF4 SFC (Super Famicom), but I figured that would be too much to absorb =P

To add onto that, the US will never receive a true port of Final Fantasy III as I was told that they lost the original copy of the game, which is why they remade it for the DS

Thanks TimeSpaceMage. Some of you don't know this, when FF4 was released in japan there were 2 versions of the game an easy version and a normal (or hard) version, we wound up with the easy version being ported to us then we get the other version in FF Chronicles for PSX.
@ siltenttype01: That is incorrect if they had lost the original they wouldn't be able to remake the game at all it would have been a totally brand new FF game.
@ Panstyle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8DVqRI2VE4 I'm so going to create a simfile out that

Oh, and if any of you are having trouble getting ahold of SNES songs:
1. Go to SNESmusic.org and download the ripped soundtrack for your game.
2. Rename it from .rsn to .rar and extract the songs with Winrar. (The songs are all 65kb in this format, so it's really handy.)
3. Download the SNESAmp plugin off their front page so you can play the songs in Winamp.
4. Download out_mp3.dll to output Winamp-played songs to mp3 format.
5. ???
6. Profit!

Okay, tried this and only finished as far as step 3. When I tried using out_mp3.dll, everything just converts to 0 KB files with a song length of 0:00. What am I doing wrong?

I couldn't get this to work either. I just used out_disk.dll and Audacity'd the resulting WAV to OGG.

I'll probably do that, but not so much with OGG as I will with MP3. If that works all right, I'll probably claim a song from Plok! to work with.
And because I didn't say anything earlier...
Hey, you guys hear about that "Tun" fella? I hear he's got a dick growing out his forehead and he feeds on the flesh of the fallen. Also, they say that if he bites you, you become one, too.
