You know, I wish they had some way to make the DJ Battle tracks available for Quickplay. It kinda sucks that I always have to go to Empire or hope that people will cooperate online to play them. (I don't really have anyone locally to play with)

To make this short:

DJ Hero got cut off along with the "death" of Guitar Hero.

The last DLC Mix Pack to be released was the Pendulum Mix Pack (which, if you have the money, GO GET THIS PACK RIGHT NOW)

This would be the last DLC for February and was to be the very last piece of DLC from DJ Hero...

...

...OR WAS IT????

Taken from their Facebook page, they have promised the fans of the game more DLC to be coming soon, even after the fact that Activision has stopped supporting any more DLC for both "Hero" franchises...could this also mean that Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock may also get the chance to release more DLC? And for how long will DJ Hero send out DLC? We might not know, more on this as time goes by.

Update: 3/15/2011:

DLC for both DJ Hero 2 and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock have been slowly coming in for March, and just today DJ Hero 2 has released a new mix pack after the supposed "last" mix pack (Pendulum Mix Pack).

According to...*cough* A LOT of players, this is probably one of the most least liked mix packs since the Old Skool Mix Pack that was released back in February (or January). In my opinion, it doesn't sound too bad, but i don't think i would pay for this one (only way i would play it is if i got it for free...which i might :/)

Well this could be our DLC for March, but there's still DLC for April coming soon, there's been a rumor going around that it will be a David Guetta Mix Pack (no not from DJ Hero 1, a NEW DG Mix Pack), but it's pretty sketchy, let's just hope they unleash some more Deadmau5 or bring back Daft Punk (which they can...they just haven't done it yet )


NEWS (4/11/11):

Activision says Guitar Hero franchise "not cancelled", is put on "hiatus"

To summarize, the Guitar Hero franchise is not as officially dead as we thought it was back in the February report. Activision now says that the franchise will be put in a "long nap" to focus more on other games like Call of Duty (no surprise there...)

With this news, could this also mean that DJ Hero can see it's 3rd iteration sometime late 2012? We may get more news during the coming E3 2011 event over this hiatus and more.
