Couldn't help noticing that on Amazon, DG, HP2, and HP will be able to be purchased as game-only starting on October 20th. I've no idea if this is a Konami thing or an Amazon thing though.

Best Buy has been selling a non-bundled Hottest Party 1 for awhile now. The second game was never sold at retail as game only though.

Future Shop here in Canada is selling HP2 as game-only for $24.99. saw it in their latest flyer. They marked it with the "get it first" tag, though, which seems to be a mistake (maybe they were thinking of HP3?)

Any return of Gambol to DDR must include a hidden chart, which is just like the expert chart, but with screwing timing (even tighter than JUSTICE on StepMania) so that you can only get Marvelous, Almost, or Boo.

Another gameplay video

Plays "So What". From what little we see of the screen, this doesn't seem to use its PV. Probably not surprising, as most of the PV includes references to alcohol and/or nudity. I don't see how they would have been able to cut it to make it "clean".

But I thought all the songs used PV's? Maybe in this gameplay they just turned it off.

Not all songs have PVs due to licensing issues + other reasons like whether explicit materials being used in the videos... Examples of Licenses without PV

@jch: Oh yes, I understand that for past releases and whatnot but I somehow assumed that all the songs in Hottest Party 3/X2 will be having accompanying music videos. Anyway, I'm glad So What doesn't have a music video. Makes me wonder what others won't: How about When I Grow Up?

@Max: I wouldn't be surprised either. In fact, I've been wondering for quite some time as to how exactly they're gonna cut it.

The ESRB rating's reference to gratuitous cleavage makes me think When I Grow Up has its video.
