Rock Revolution questions

Ok, I know that this is a really bad game, but I don't care I want to get it, just because I need somethi9gn to party with at my party tonight, somethign cheap.

1. Can I use my guitar hero guitar on this game?

2. Do you have all the songs unlocked already, or do you have to go threw a carrer mode to unlock them.

Like I said I have 20 dollars, and today I'm thinking about getting DDR Supernova 2, and probably this game, since its only 3.99 at gamestop. So can someone help me out real quick.

1. I own the 360 version. I've been able to use my GH Aerosmith controller with zero problems.

2. I believe so. If memory serves me right, the only career mode unlockables are extra characters. All the songs should be there by default. I know the 360 version has two free DLC songs, so I assume the PS3 would have them as well.

Aside from the freeze like notes, I really didn't find any real problems with the game. Most of the people that I've seen piss all over it, seem to be in the "ZOMG COVERS!!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!" mindset.

Yes the ps3 also has free dlc, and it works great, thanks alot. I acutlally like the game alot. its fun.

Yeah, I liked the game a lot as well. I'm not a whore for master tracks, so having a game of mostly cover songs isn't going to kill me. I think most people have just gotten spoiled. I have heard that the set up for the drums is pretty crappy, but seeing as how I don't have the controller, I can't give any real advice.

Yes, the game has online play. It's pretty much the same set up one would find in GH/RB. Head to Head vs., co-op, or playing against both as a "battle of the bands" type of deal. Of course no one ever plays online (at least on the 360).

How would I go to online? I looked at the main menu, and didn't see a online option.

Check under the multiplayer tab, it should be there.

haha Alright I'll check it there, I'm not very good at the game, the songs are great though. Are there even alot of people online, or is it pretyt much dead.

haha aww, I guess its ok that its dead, everyone is playing GH and RB now adays, but this game is still agood game to me.

In the kill it with fire department, does the RB drumset work with GH or RB any good?

Depends on the console, I don't think it does 360, but PS3 it does, (rock band 2 at least) albeit horribly. The drums are pure trash, beating on one of mine caused another to spontaneously go off if you hit it normally. I honestly can't recommend getting it only for the drums.

do the songs still have words like fuck,shit & bitch
