The TAG Blog Begins

Hello there, my name is TAG.
I've started a blog! I'm quite a trendy guy, aren't I?
I just can't help taking part in this big wave!!!

Hmm? "Who are you", you say? Well, I knew this part was inevitable, so I've already prepared my self-introduction. I work on music for Konami's BEMANI series of music games that are seen in arcades all across the country. I provide music for the dance simulator "DanceDanceRevolution", guitar simulator "GuitarFreaks", and the drum simulator "DrumMania".

On this blog, I'll write things about BEMANI, things unrelated to BEMANI, about anything, and about nothing.

But I've started my blog at quite an important time...
Because...Well, you see...

I'm not coming out with an album!!!!

Now, don't worry. I don't really have enough songs to come out with an album yet.
Maybe when I've been with BEMANI for another ten years...maybe...Ah! Anyways, please continue to support the BEMANI series.

Let's Go TAG Hunting!

Don't be defeated by jubeat! We're having a party over here!

What I mean by that is, the GitaDora Hunter is being held!
And there is a rare monster called "TAG" that has appeared in Battle Mode.

"What's rare?", you say?
Well, even though there's probably a lot of people on the jubeat staff actively playing jubeat, I'm the only one on the GFDM staff playing V6.
Even though up to four people can play on one match on jubeat, on GFDM it is limited to two people.

Because of that, it would probably be harder to encounter me on GFDM than you would on jubeat.

Is TAG a rookie Bemani composer? I imagined that he has been mostly secluded to GFDM (prior to DDR X) unlike the other composers.

He hasn't been composing for very long. He first premiered in V3 I think, and has had one or two songs with each release after that. He also is a stepartist for DDR.

Not such a rookie, then?

I guess nobody would even say he is from GFDM when they hear saber wing.

The TAG hunt has ended! Were you able to battle me?
I have to apologize in advance for next time, as I won't have as much time .
I just don't have the strength to keep up for two straight hours. And everyone was at least Level 90, it's all too much!
Thanks to all of you, I fell to class A2.

On the weekends I have dates with my girlfriend.
My girlfriend on Love Plus that is...(Note: Love Plus is a popular dating sim made by Konami).

Hello! It is TAG, the person in charge of the sound for DDR X2.
Have you already gone to the location test?
The music select screen has been changed and now each song has its own CD Jacket art. They bear a strong resemblance to their previous art work, and it makes me grin without even thinking.

Anyways, speaking of DDR X2, three new songs were made available today! Those songs are...Well, it would spoil the surprise if just wrote it here, why don't you go out and see for yourself! They are some pretty hot tunes.
