Also, in these days of psp's and wiis that don't require any kind of modchips and minimal effort to be hacked, I don't think that ps3 piracy will ever take off and be a problem of the same magnitude that represents for, let's say, the psp.

I'm sure here in my country (Indonesia), once this modchip has been released, Copied Blu-ray games would be sold everywhere...

not a chance in hell of it happening. EVER!!!. why??? you might ask. it is because the ps3 does multiple security checks as soon as you power it on.
Anyway whats the point buying a blank blu-ray disc + the burner is going to work out more expensive than buying the original copy of a game.have any of you seen the price of blank blu-rays and burners latley? the price is still to much for the average person.
The speed games fall in price these days makes copying them pointless. take i dunno say sega and sonic allstars racing for example i got it for £35 on relese now its only worth £7 new within the space of a couple of months.
