More highloads in the past minutes than the amount of boomba's posts.

You know, i actually don't really see the flaw with the High Loads as opposed to about a year ago when dreamhost just said "fuck you ZIv, were going to completely 404 your ass and not let ANYONE get on to ZIv, thank you have a nice day :3"
Yeah i can see that the High Loads are a problem but i don't see it as something that's a NAGGING and a HUGE problem. Unless it really is screwing up ZIv, making it slower, causing breaks in the site, etc., i really do not see that big of a deal with the High Loads.
Granted, usually when they happen i am away from the computer doing something else or i AM on the computer doing something else...and when they occur, i just let it do it things and go back after about 2 minutes.
It WOULD be nice to get it fixed though, seeing that most everyone here is getting annoyed at the constant High Loads of the site, but as far as i can see it i don't have that much of a problem with it unless it completely blocks access to ZIv like it did last time.

Unfortunately, it hasn't, and we're still getting high server loads. However, when we get it, the percentage is about 6% as opposed to the 22% it was a day or so ago. It also doesn't happen as often though it does happen.Post #67 · Posted at 2011-06-29 07:47:01am 1.9 years ago

It's not even the server that's the issue, it's the stupid database that keeps locking up.

*bump* I keep getting 500 server errors whenever I try to do something on here and the chat is pretty much broken and not sending posts. It took me 5 minutes and at least 10 404's to get onto this page alone.
I even got a 500 trying to post this LOL

Which user did you send a PM to? Most likely that user does not have a valid email address...

I got one randomly this morning when trying to go to a thread. I just went back and retried and it worked fine.

Server is intermittently up and down, but I'm sure you all knew that.
DH blamed me for it for high memory usage although this does not explain why pings fail outright, implying SERVER UNREACHABLE so I sent another e-mail back.
Will let you guys know what I hear...
So in the end, it turns out it wasn't my fault, as per usual!
Bump: Apologies for the downtime, database connections were kept open as our processes kept being killed off by the server, so the connections were not being closed. Due to that, the connection limit was reached, so DH just had to restart the database for it to clear.

I sincerely apologize for this issue. This issue seem to be caused another user that was using up resources on the server and our admin team has killed the process, which seems to have resolved the issue. If you are still seeing issues please let me know and I will check into this further.
