It's not that bad.
can't wait to see how much more complaining happens when we see what's in the game.

It's not that bad but it was completely unnecessary, and is a rather ominous sign of more meaningless changes to the European version for no reason. Watch the colours get swapped to some hideous clashy hot pink, yellow, and green after a 10 month delay.

If by DDR Hottest Party 3 they mean DDR '09 then I am rather pissed as the titles are the same so does it really take a few extra months to change Marvelous to Marvellous and translate the game into a few extra languages?
Also I've only ever played DDR, Para Para Paradise, PIU and EZ2Dancer so can I ask what Pop'n is like and what changes to the control style the Wii remote will bring?

I've played Pop'n once, at an arcade that's since gone out of business. It's a colorful, cheerful game that can get deceptively hard like IIDX. Traditionally there's 9 colored buttons, each as big as your fist, which you slap in time with the music to make keysounds. Also instead of arrows or rectangles, you hit "pop-kuns" which all wiggle and have little eyes like the puyos in Puyo Pop. As far as the lifebar, it's like IIDX in that you have to have it above the red at the end of the song (so it can drop all the way without you failing).
Here're a few videos:
Ubertreffen (on Normal, which is the lowest difficulty; I recommend this guy's channel if you want to see what kind of music is in the games)
Genso Suikoden V (on EX, the hardest difficulty like DDR's Oni. The games' "Heavy" is "Hyper")
Love Love Sugar EX (annd the obligatory "crazy Japanese guy" playing)
You can read more about the game at the Pop'nomicon. At any rate, it's a really fun game that you can enjoy even if you suck at it like I do.

A low-quality video of NAOKI-san showing off Pop'n Rhythm. The song they play is Celebration, by whoever the hell sings that song.

It would probably the one from beatmania and Universe 3(I believe). The one by Wavegroup.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pa1HK1fmRm4

Unless they make a peripheral for this game(even though this is an official release of pop'n music) I'm not interested in it.

Yes, however Celebration was already confirmed for this game, and yeah: I hope this is the beatmania version by DJ TK-ST, not this WaveGroup cover from UNIVERSE3

Wait a minute, what do you mean the songlist confirmed? I thought we're getting sweet licenses like Waiting For Tonight, Celebration or something like that, ya?

It's just the beta songlist that was shown at the Demo. It's not the final songlist. However, the songs in that list are basically guaranteed to be in the final version.
And HELL to the YES on some of those KO's. 777! Shamshir Dance! Echoes! MAGICAL VOICE SHOWER!!!!!!

Is anybody else having problems actually seeing the site well?
In IE, it doesn't load the colored tabs behind the song names, so it's all black, and in Firefox, it crashes when I try to see something below Honto no Jibun.

You know, this release could go a lot worse. I think I could get my friends playing pop'n music with this though. This could be a lot of fun!

This actually looks fun, except I really hope the charts do get a lot harder than what's currently shown.
