i haven't really been updating my progress though i doubt anyone besides me cares anyway... i'm walking into the third gym on omega ruby now.

i need suggestions for another addition to my team.

Lets see you have a

Electric - Steel type (I think Voltorb has a 2nd type)
Water - Ground type
Grass - Dark type
Normal type (I don't think this has a 2nd type)
Flying - Water type

I'm thinking you should switch Linoone with a Fighting type like Makuita.

I should also post an update on my progress later.

voltorb is not steel type.

i plan on keeping linoone because it's my hm slave basically.

just need something else but i don't know what would be good.

Tentacruel is a much better HM slave. All three water-based HMs and Cut.

Trying to put finishing touches on my base (team, décor, etc.) before I make another update, but these last few contests are pissing me off.

APPEND: Also, silent wanted me to tell how the Pokémon competition at A-Kon went.

I didn't go.

I showed up at registration at around 11 or 12, and I was told all 100 entry spots had been taken up almost immediately.

Also, with how long the lines were waiting for gym leaders, the competition pretty much had to be the only thing you did at the con if you registered.

On the plus side, I did manage to make a few people ragequit during random matches.

I figured that would happen. I'm expecting the same thing to happen at supercon. What I don't like is that supercon doesn't even mention what battle format they'll use. It just says it starts at ten am with no ending time and no battle format. I really don't want to go in blind.

I hope I'll fare better than you at supercon. I want to wreck people with my team :B

I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunity to do so. Even if you're not able to make the official competition, I can't imagine that there wouldn't be tons of randoms to pick fights with.

Sorry guys I was tired last night and was thinking on the fly. musta been thinking of Magnamite, Magnaton and Magnazone. Would be cool though.

anywho progress update: I'm back on 119 rebattling trainers, looking for bases and items. Speaking of bases I'm getting a little annoyed by the fact that can't get to the flag in some of these bases. I know and understand how CTF works, but in this game it more like you want people to take the flag so they can increase their base rating and in turn get more stuff to add to said bases. Oh well I'll end that mini-rant. So far Silenttype's base is the only base from ZIV that I have to look for. I love Howie's base, but I would have went with all battle girls (but I digress).

US version coming this winter. thank god this one is sold as cartridge, i love that boxart.
it already sounds like a massive improvement from Gates to Infinity but we'll see what else it has.

On a side note I'm in the middle of clearing routes 132-134 (between Pacifidlog Town and Slateport City) then after that I'll be en route to Ever Grand City. So I should be finished with the Main portion of the game soon then comes the Delta Episode.
