DDR is not as good as it was I'll admit that, but I grew up with the game and still like it today and is a part of my life. Being with something even in the harsh times is what a fan is in my eyes. How can you call yourself a fan if you endlessly bitch about everything about it? There's got to be a word for these kind of people.

How old are we talking? If you started playing at around 2nd mix I could imagine having rose colored glasses and thinking that those games were better than they really were. I was exposed to all games Extreme and before at the same time and I really don't think the songs or stepcharts from the earliest games were really all that great. They got better over time, minus a couple steaming piles of crap. I think X2 was one of the best games yet.

Unless we're only talking about console versions, then I'd probably agree with the facebook trolls.

Edgar was a bit more safer since he has balanced parameters, but neither the Drill nor the Chainsaw tools compare to the damage his brother does with Bum Rush, especially with a high Vigor rating. I consider this beastly.

Last sentence made no sense whatsoever if Drill is a lot more user-friendly to do compared to Blitz. I just prefer higher learning curves over simplicity. Even though Sabin's tougher to use (can't pick target easily, and isn't for anyone who chokes a command), the brothers are still the strongest attackers.

Which comes to one bad combat character. I'd have to say that Setzer was the worst in the game because he's a shitty attacker (only dual-wielding Doom Darts via Genji Glove, along with an Offering relic, is the most effective tool for non-boss enemies unless the target is undead), plus the Slots don't help matters. I never lined up all 7's before, and will never bother slots if I revisited this game, but you'll be cussing up a storm if that happened because you'll die instantly with the 7's lined up.

I don't like giving Setzer the Doom Darts because there's too much undead crap in the WOR. I'd rather just bludgeon my way through a fight and not have to worry about "Oh is this going to revive because of some stupid insta-death property?" I usually give him the Fixed Dice and the Offering Master's Scroll. Makes him a better attacker, but still not really my first choice for my primary team.
