Dance Dance Revolution Choice

Ok, tommorow I'm going to my bank, and I want your opinion.

I didn't get DDR Hottest Party 2 for Christmas, I was kind of upset, but my brother is taking me tommorow to my bank. So I still have a chance to get it, but the thing is I was thinking about getting DDR X again, I had to sell it because of money issues, but now I'm stuck in a pickle, I can't get both because my parents freak when I take money out of my bank. So I'm trying to make a choice of either getting DDR X or Hottest Party 2, I want your opinion.


if you can tell me the goods and bads of each game.

I'd probably get HP2 because of all the KO's. Not that X's content was bad, it's just I feel I might enjoy HP2 a bit more. But I think Uni3 was this year's best, yet you might not have a 360

Yeah I like the songlist tha HP2 has, thats why I was so excited to get it, hmmm checking the songlist again, and alright I just needed someones opinion, , my brother has a xbo360, but hes up at college so that really won't work for me. Honestly... neither... HP2>X, but X got extremely boring for me, and HP2's charts are not good...

I would sell my copy of DDR X, but I cannot inflict that on someone in good conscience.

X is an unfinished Beta of a game whose quality is currently questionable.
HP2 has atrocious graphics and the worst steps I've ever seen in a DDR game.

Personally, I'm holding out for X JP. I still maintain hope that the best is yet to come.

Well actually I found some old games that I can sell and since DDR X is only 24 dollars or something hopefully I get enough to get both games, I hope. I thought X was awesome I miss Sunkiss and all of them, why did I sell you DDRX why!!

If you want Konami Originals, go with hottest party 2
If you prefer commissioned content, go with X.
If you missed out on the KO's during the heyday of SN2, go with X USA.
If you loved dancing on popular songs, go with hottest party 2.

If you want something complete, and craving for new songs (as in first heard or foreign), go with X JP.

Perhaps you should sell him DDR Kyzentun Mix instead...seriously just beuase you hate the games doesnt mean he will.

He asked for advice/opinions, and I posted to make mine clear. I see them both as unplayable trash, for reasons that I stated when they came out.
Yes, the steps I've made for the two times I tried were terrible, but I'm not someone who was hired to do it by a large company. Konami should have no trouble finding good step artists, and good game designers. They have no excuse for producing what really look like toned down keyboard charts full of spins and jumps.

ACTUALLY I LOVE HP2, the songs are just so amazing! I only unlocked one song so far (Just Believe), and I like that song. The game is so awesome!

and DDR X is the same, but I love it.
