The thing with Spin the Disc was that it was impossible to AAA it on DDRMAX because it goes to the result screen before counting the O.K.! for the last freeze arrow. Someone may have to confirm this as I'm unsure about it.
As for the missing charts, look a couple of posts above
DDRMAX does not support Beginner
oh...and that why they maybe put it again on DDRMAX2 or did it go to the result again? As for the missing charts, look a couple of posts above

Yep, although they should have repeated My Summer Love as well, as it goes off sync near the end of the song.
DDRMAX is probably not a Greatest Hits because of the bugs that it may have, but its well worth it in the long run.

which explains why DDRMAX2 and Extreme(us) got greatest hits....DDRMAX is probably not a Greatest Hits because of the bugs that it may have, but its well worth it in the long run.
but they put it back in DDR: DCE and it sync the whole song with a ocean theme video
edit: (off-topic) did P.N. Repsect has stops in party collection? if so then never mind, but if not then konami added stops in SuperNOVA

This video gives a pretty good preview of what you'll find in the game I think: DDR Max songlist
Some of the songs take a while to unlock, like the Drop the Bomb remix. I don't really like the graphics in this game, especially how pixelated some of the bg videos look. However I think it has a really decent selection of music on it where it's worth getting.
You should definitely pick it up

Well, these were made seven/eight years ago on PS1 based hardware...in a low resolution too.

I forgot to mention: the Dark mod is absent in this game. That was the only thing that really stuck out as I like playing with Dark

Heh-heh, of course
I just didn't like the color scheme used throughout the game with all the bright yellows and blues.

Another interesting tidbit: Cutie Chaser is the only song shown in 3/4 time under edit mode. All of the others are shown in 4/4 time.

No, what I SAID was that the game was DEVELOPED on PS1 BASED ARCADE HARDWARE...and then PORTED to PS2.

yeah it was.....
but at least in PS2 it has more pixel resolution..... (640x480) rather than PS1 resolution (320x240)
and has more framerate.... (PS1 framerate is crap)

I'm pretty sure that DDRMAX AC Runs at 60fps.

Well, it looks like everyone says I should go for it xD I just have a few questions...
I hardly play double just because I don't have two mats, so the double glitches aren't a problem so far. However, for charts I need to put in for singles, what charts are they originally using?
And, can anyone recommend a good pad? I don't want anything expensive, just something that doesn't move around!

All of the charts that appear in the game are the regular ones.
As you may know, Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove has an Oni chart. Stomp to My Beat was given new steps in 4thMix Plus. The one that they use in this game is the stepchart that appears in 2nd Mix

5th mix was the first to run at 60 fps.

So basically, only get this game if you want some classics. OH, BTW, this game is hard to find, because last I know, I bought the last sellable copy of it in NY. It's alright, but the timing window is HORRIBLE. I played it. Then played DDR X for 5 hours (Hey, don't judge me), then played DDRMAX again and sucked at it (ALL DAMN GREATS!) So, buy at your own risk. Now, ITG... That's a totally different story...

The game isn't hard at all to get, you can get it online here:
http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=22067
Also, the game is available at the 3 gamestops closest to me.

I found 4 GameStops each with at least 3 copies of DDRMAX. On the other hand you can't find any of the more recent games used (especially Ultramix 4)
