Hi everyone! I was just a little curious about some of those songs where there are secret and almost unnoticeable BPM changes. The most well-known example is Ecstacy, and we all know what mess Insertion is BPM-Wise... I have noticed a slight change near the beginning of Electro Tuned(The Subs Mix) and of course one in Tir Na N'Og (or whatever it is spelled) after the slowdown, where the BPM changes a little bit during the freeze then get back to normal.
Do you have any other examples of those secret BPM changes? If you could provide a video of the song and point the moment where it changes, it would be very appreciated

SABER WING speeds up to 444 at one point (although that is slightly noticeable), like TLoM does to 666. They just aren't telling you.

BURNIN' THE FLOOR (MOMO MIX) has a little moment where it goes to 340 BPM, although it's probably not all that "hidden"...

I believe Mello (from Ultramix 2) has speed ups
Quote: Wikipedia article
Mello: Written by Alien#Six13, this song possesses a property similar to The legend of MAX. During each of the two long freeze arrows in the song, the tempo speeds up from the usual 97 BPM to 783, surpassing The legend of MAX and all other DDR songs to date (until SuperNOVA 2 with the release of Pluto Relinquish). After the second freeze, the tempo picks up at 194 BPM for the remainder of the song.

Yup, that's true.
Also, R10K is loaded with BPM changes.

DanDanDO goes from 156 to 160, but in both cases they're displayed, but almost unnoticeable.Post #11 · Posted at 2008-11-24 12:10:09pm 15.4 years ago

ANGELUS has several slowdowns throughout the song, part of why it can be so difficult to time if you don't know where they are.

Yes, it is more noticeable just at the end of the song with the 10 or so last steps. Angelus was one I had noticed but forgot to mention, thanks there Pie!
Another one, I'm not quite sure about it, but please someone check it out on a Supernova machine, 'cause I feel that Stoic(Extreme Version) gets slightly offsync after the stop near the end, it might be a BPM change, a small stop error or just my imagination...
BTW, I'm sorry if I didn't specified, but I wanted to learn about really subtle ones, like Electro Tuned, Ecstacy, Angelus or Little Bitch(Ididn't know there was a slowdown!) or even .59, because a jump from 170 to 340 is quite noticeable even if the BPM-meter doesn't specify it lol! I must admit that the 350 BPM in Insaner was hard to guess though. Also, does anyone know the exact moment where Curus and DanDanDo's BPMs change? I never even felt a slight difference...
Thanks everyone, and keep on finding new ones!

For DanDanDo, where the triplets come in on , is where it slows down.

While SAMBA DE JANEIRO mainly runs at 160 BPM, it has little moments where it runs at 154 BPM.

Simply Being Loved (Somnambulist) slows down for a measure right before the second set of triplets on S-Heavy.
