An issue has been brought up by some members recently about unusual scores being entered in the score tracker.

There's the full MARVELOUSES issue with no picture linked to it. These are VERY rare, but there are too many without any sort of picture proof.

There's also the issue where people just fill in the non-MARVELOUS, non-PERFECT counts and just click the All MARVELOUS, O.K. link straight away. So the score looks like NO PERFECTS and 24 GREATS for example.

Remember the way to delete your score is to enter 0 in the MARVELOUS, PERFECT, GREAT, GOOD, ALMOST, BOO and O.K. fields.

If you go here, it will list the scores, users, difficulties and songs in question. For any of your scores that are listed. Please sort your score out by either entering the correct numbers or provide picture proof of your score.

It would be a shame if people were messing around with the score tracker and a little sad. I personally only ever use it to track my progress for myself. I don't see how much satisfaction it is possible to glean from putting a false score on a website either Question Mark
Of course hopefully all the those listed are from genuinely very good steppers who have not yet gotten round to uploading pictures, or are genuine mistakes

I only use the score tracker for my own personal use anyway i did have one suspicious score on Colors (FOR EXTREME) because i AAA it and found the song on the wrong mix and entered all marvelous instead of all perfects....if there are any questions about my scores all anyone need do is ask and ill upload a picture of the score in question so if anyone cares about that kinda thing please dont hesatate to ask im not trying to cheat or give false imformation at all and i dont mind proving anything to anyone so all im saying is that if you think im good yay more props to me if you dont believe me then you simply need to ask and ill get a picture as soon as possible

Thank you
live life to the fullest

Needs both ALL PERFECTS and ALL MARVELOUSES buttons tbh; it would avoid this issue.
(With the Marvelous button greyed out for non-SN2 scores)

Also a DELETE SCORE button, many users wouldn't think to enter all zeroes to clear their score (me included XD)

It gets a bit sad when people want to cheat their scores just in the event of looking good. I myself wouldn't do that, even if I am bad at DDR! Laughing Out Loud

"now led_light for short"
Sorry to bump this thread again, but I like how there is barely any proof for any doubles AAAs at all. *sarcasm* I keep seeing songs where no one in the US has any doubles AAA proof besides me.

Case in point:
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/pictures/10104-1332080590[0].png

Seeing how the e-amuse record is not an MFC (from http://aaronin.jp/eamuse.html), those two MFCs there look very suspicious.

Speaking of nicX:
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/pictures/10104-1332080590[1].png

Again, You're Not Here-Heavy world record is not an MFC, so you have some explaining to do for pretty much ALL of your MFCs (maybe even all of your AAAs in general).

I ran a test in the database to see who are the top 10 offenders for submitting MFCs without proof and here are the results:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2351933/MFC_No_Proof.png

I might reassign all those to PFCs rather than MFCs for those who have 10 or more of these due to how rare these are.

Let me know your thoughts.

In some cases, I'd be willing to bet the score entered was just the perfect count and for whatever reason the value was typed into the Marvellous area, or they didn't know and just entered the number of steps into the Marvellous area.

I wonder if just some kind of "PFC" checkbox when you don't know the MA would be useful...maybe not, that sounds confusing even though it might fix some of the problems related to this.

I totally trust Dr. D's MFCs since he has photos and videos of them, and if I'm not mistaken he has a 4th? (Ska Ska No. 3)

*ALSO* Be sure to check the current X3 eAmuse records here which are updated daily:
http://ddr.fanweb.jp/tool/ddr/x3/firstplace/

I will try to update scores on mine where applicable/possible but that is another site you should check for the eAmuse scores (though that site does not take into consideration scores from older mixes that were higher)

Finally, NicX is a moderator on my site, and he has posted pics of his PFCs in the past, though he hasn't had any "new" ones for quite some time due to lack of machines/access and he plays more Pump these days I understand.

Here is an ancient post with pics : http://aaronin.jp/boards/viewtopic.php?p=366335&highlight=#366335
